Last night I was doing some Roc strikes on my Titan because I need the lousy plating material to be able to upgrade my gear. So, I was in kill everything mode.
One of the strikes was a Rockets Mcdickface run. The two other guys ran past the first room and went after the guards immediately. They didn't like that I was sticking behind to kill stuff so they wiped to bring me forward to the darkness zone.
Well, I didn't like that they had done that so I ran back into the previous room and killed the mobs there instead. They wiped again and we all spawned again so I waved then went back to finish off my mobs again. They finally learned that resetting their checkpoint was taking longer than if they had just gone on ahead alone and let me catch up when I was done.
Go ahead and run off to get through faster...I'll catch up but if you think I'm going to be cooperative when you try to force me to play your way you're dead wrong and I'm going to then drag out the strike as long as possible.

2 RespuestasDude your not an Asshole your a hypocrite. You are booty hurt for not wanting to be forced to play their way, yet you were forcing them to play your way... Same shit different smell.
-
Yeh well the last time I did a strike the same thing happened on archion priest the 2 Asshats ran forward. I eventually caught them up. When I did I jumped up ontop of the priests capsule thing and danced away until thy defeated him. I then jumped down to were they killed him and got a legendary. Pmsl.
-
You were all assholes but I believe that you were the smallest asshole out of all the assholes in your fireteam.
-
Editado por Kutthroat VII: 1/13/2015 9:19:36 AMI usually sometimes rush through strikes In vanguard roc, but when I see someone not rushing, I usually go back and help them instead. They were the assholes for wiping forcing you to play the way they were. You were just freaking stubborn, there was no reason going back to kill enemies. Seemed like they were trying to help u at first I suppose.
-
No, they're the a holes for wiping, dude.
-
2 RespuestasI'd say they were the assholes. If I'm in a Strike and see a guy or two do that, I let them do their thing, as I assume they're trying for Engram drops. I just keep going to keep it fast. Everyone wins.
-
*dumbass There. I corrected your title.
You're welcome.
-
Yeah. You are an asshole.
-
1 RespuestaLast time everyone skipped on through the mobs on archon priest i moved through casually killing minotaurs and got a legendary engram drop, jokes on them.
-
1 RespuestaThey're just bad. I speedrun. If nexus takes more than 5 minutes something is wrong. That said, if randoms are behind me and falling behind, I don't care, I go and do it myself... no need to wipe and be an asshole. Meh
-
You're not an asshole, you're playing the game. If you wanna run past all the bad guys then why even play?
-
1 RespuestaAfter reading these comments, I'm starting to think that I have the "rules" of strikes wrong. So if the other two players are rushing to the final boss and killing only the progression-necessary enemies (this is the scenario that I encounter the most frequently), I'm supposed to just conform to what they are doing?

Yesterday I was doing the weekly heroic solo and I invited someone when I got to the last boss. I was on a time limit as I had to leave soon so I wanted to get it done fast. I invited a level 31 Titan and he died probably 6-7 times each time I picked him up. I eventually went to solo it and leave him dead. Right when the boss was almost dead I figured I may as well pick him up. When I do he blocks me from getting out of the way and I die and then instead of picking me up he tries to do it solo and dies within 30 seconds... After that I kicked him and did it solo

I had a guy like you when I was trying to get the Bad Juju. I was butthurt. Then as soon as I got it I need Major and Ultra kills, and spent the next few strikes killing everything in sight. It's really hard for people to work as a team when everyone has different objectives.
-
1 RespuestaI can understand your frustration but strikes are about working as a team and if your not talking to each other than you should atleast stay together. Two out of three of your team is moving forward then you should press on as well. You don't have to like it but it certainly isn't hurting anything to skip areas.
-
Jokes on them. They're rubbish. They can't complete a ROC strike without a full fireteam.
-
4 RespuestasMe too! I park in handicap spaces while handicap people make handicap faces! I go in public bathrooms and piss on the seats and walk around in summer time saying "how bout this heat!?" Im an asshole!
-
5 RespuestasOooooh, so YOU'RE that d!ck that keeps doing that. Go back to Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Look man if you want to kill everything then more power to you. Don't be that way during ROC strikes. Gather a buddy or 2 and have a 3 way pow-wow, killing everything on your path to completion. If you do a matchmaking ROC vanguard strike then go with the playing style of your fireteam. Remember, a fireteam is made up of three people and if the majority wants to do it a certain way then adapt to that way. You are 33% of that fireteam's help. So why not help out your fellow guardians dismember the servants of Darkness?
-
6 RespuestasIt's a strike. Literally no point in killing everything in the world ever. You pretty much "forced" them to play your way.
-
I run ahead but don't die to bring everyone forward. Just make things less hectic for when you come up.
-
1 RespuestaIf you got shit around the rim then your a dirty asshole.
-
I enjoy when people rush in an efficient manner. I find that balance between rushing and killing. I love it when other people rush so that when I kill everything and arrive at the boss room, the boss is almost dead and I've still killed everything that I wanted to :)
-
Nice job man! I gotta try this
-
Na your fine killing everything while still doing the mission is ok your more likely to get blue drops from it too
-
I'm worse. I lead noobs into the dark room near skywatch just to punch the servant of the hand in the face before running like hell and letting the noobs get devoured.
