Editado por Acidity: 1/3/2015 9:26:59 AMIt's 2015. I don't give a fudge about God. I want free presents.

Editado por Whubbsie: 1/3/2015 1:02:41 PMPretty hard to get away from Christmas if you live in a western country, though giving presents and putting up a tree isn't really the christian part of the holiday.... If I had gone to church then I really would be a hypocrite. I also don't usually eat meat at Easter but that's more a family tradition for me than anything else.
-
Most athiests do. It really isnt a christian holiday.
-
To be fair, Christmas has nothing to do with Jeebus, but it is a pagan festival celebrating the winter solstice ... Hypocritical much?
-
Celebrating Christmas doesn't hav to be for Christianity. Like Saint Patricks Day. Kids in school just learn about leprecauns. And adults get wasted.
-
To be fair the rest of my family is very orthodox Christain. And may or may not know that I am an atheist...
-
Christmas is a pagan holiday Jesus christ
-
I celebrate out of respect for everyone else in my family (Christians).
-
Christmas means different things to different people try-hard

4 RespuestasDid you have a Christmas tree this year? Because newsflash, Jesus didn't have a tree. Get a grip fool
-
I celebrated with my families on the same day as Christmas, but not Christmas. :)
-
So.......
-
I deserve a box
-
My family celebrates happy time off from work and gift day. we all buy gifts for each other as many as you want and we open them whenever everyone's awake and at my parents house.

18 RespuestasCalling atheists hypocritical for observing a practice that isn't even Christian. Please OP, everyone knows that Christians are raging hypocrites. The entire organization is based in hypocrisy.
-
2 RespuestasNow how many Atheists celebrated Christmas as a religious holiday? Yeah that's what I thought
-
8 RespuestasI did, I did!

1 RespuestaAm I not allowed to spend time with my family whom I love? No? K.

3 RespuestasEditado por The Cellar Door: 1/2/2015 10:51:09 PMBecause I want to be that asshole who doesn't go to the family party because I'm not religious. Like that makes more sense than just subduing my differences to enjoy the family that I hardly see. It's not hypocritical for me to celebrate Christmas because I don't believe in God. It is however hypocritical for a Christian to say that others shouldn't celebrate Christmas, this hypocrisy is on terms of biblical implications and the fact that Christmas was not originally even a Christian holiday.
-
I did. Just to keep my family happy.
-
1 RespuestaIts a holiday that Christians stole from the Pagans. I'll celebrate whatever I want.
-
2 Respuestas- Have Christian family members - Good time to spend time with family If you think I'm not allowed to celebrate Christmas, too bad.
