3 RespuestasExclusion zone on Mars is the best place to farm for glimmer. Run the normal Vault of Glass a few times before going into the hard. Handcannons are the best weapons in the game and Single Point Sling does make make a difference. Buy every exotic weapon from Xur if you have the opportunity, regardless of its reviews, you never know what might work for you and even if the weapon is garbage at the time, it could be buffed later. The Crucible is the best place to level up gear quickly, by far. If you're efficient, I'm about two hours you can max out 3-4 pieces of gear, easily (maybe even less if you excel). Remember to grab the bounties. If you're going to have multiple characters and get multiple drops of your favorite weapon, keep it, do not dismantle. It's much easier having multiples of your favorite and most used weapons versus dropping it in the vault everytime you need to switch. Nightfall and Weeklies have a modifier that exponentially increases a selective type of elemental damage, be on the lookout for those and use it to your advantage, remember though, the increase in damage goes both ways. Remember to take a second and make sure you have all the gear you want getting the experience from bounties equipped, I can't tell you how many times I've been in a rush and overlooked this small detail. The daily bounty reset is the same time everyday but obviously you'll have to check what the reset is for you depending on your timezone. Xur will come every Friday at your reset time, always, but his location will be different. Check here on the forums about a minute or two into his arrival for his location and inventory list. The drops will come but this is a grinding game, that's what you are signing up for you hit "X" or whatever it may be for you on the title screen, just be patient and remember not to take things too seriously. There is a weekly update from Bungie here on the forums every Thursday, be on the lookout for those, most of the time it's not anything important but still, keep up with them. I'll add more things as I remember.

don't get your hopes up when it comes to gear and rng

1 RespuestaThe green slime on the floor from fanatics in VoG is overshield. Step into it immediately for a full armor recharge!!! :-)
-
Find your class and roll three of it. Don't be the guy that has to send weapons and shit between characters. Get a proper loadout for every char. Realize that Gjallarhorn is highly situational and overrated. In 99 % of the situations where a heavy is a viable option it's better to use a LMG. Embrace the scout rifle. You'll quickly reach a point where crucible/vanguard vendor gear/weapons become obsolete so pick a faction based on shaders instead.

1. flip a finger to anyone calling you a "scrub" for playing your own way. 2. when turning in bounties, equip items that you want levelling up fast before you speak to xander 3. gjallahorn and icebreaker are the daddies of weapons that should be on your wishlist
-
Stick your finger in your butthole when you play. It releases special chemicals in your brain that make you perform better.
-
Gjallarhorn

Definitely DON'T read these forums until after your tenth VoG.
-
Don't listen to opinions here. Just play and have fun.

Get Last in Pvp.

Don't feed the trolls.

Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate!

Keep an eye on what color shields enemies have, and respond accordingly. Blue shield means use arc weapons, orange=solar, purple=void. Also, Fallen usually have arc shields, Cabal have solar, vex have void, hive have arc (knights) and solar (wizards). Hope this helps!

2 RespuestasEditado por xSatansEskimox: 12/27/2014 4:17:09 PMWhen you are going through the raid and someone tries to show you where the secret chest is under the cliffside, never doubt their intentions! The chest dissapear rather quickly and you only have one chance to get them on your character, so make sure you hurry and follow their directions! Also, when you kill the gatekeeper in the vog, make sure to run to it's body once it has no health and falls to the ground, it casts a buff that will surely come in handy for the next part of the fight. When fighting the templar, grenades or rockets are always the fastest and easiest way to break free if you get stuck in a containment field. When fighting atheon, use grenades (damage is insane)

1 RespuestaDon't listen to anyone who uses the suros
-
Play and figure it out yourself people will help you but don't expect them to do everything for you
-
look for places to take cover and/or stay above your enemy.
-
Get an Icebreaker and level it up ASAP. It's by far the best (at least most useful) gun in the game. I got mine on my first Nightfall and have never been without it since.
-
Look before you leap... Literally you might fall down a hole or jump off a cliff
-
Get a suros/gjallarhorn as quickly as possible.

#1.) Survivability is key! <<< #2.) Don't fret about Defense. If you earn gear that gives you more Light, go with that. (Note: after you hit max level 20.) #3.) Xur is your friend. He's an exotic merchant that comes on the weekends. He is not always in the same place in the Tower. Look for wherever all the other people are with "..." (indicating they're in the menu) over there heads to find where he might be. - and always buy from him if you can! #4.) Frequent the Destiny forums on the companion app & check the News regularly. - also I very much enjoy the Destiny Wiki app to read up on all sorts of different gear. #5.) Keep everything you get from raids.
-
Don't die and be that guy. Surviving is número uno.

My best advice....find a good group to run with. The game is so much better when you have a fun group to roll with. I started a clan back in the beginning and found some great players. Fyi....not all the players are assholes like some of the trolls on here. Enjoy the game and ignore the negativity.

Dont suck and you will be alright
-
If you use self rez, you are a scrub. Sry warlocks who are still living in the past VoG days. Voidwalker>Song of Flame>Fireborn

1 RespuestaDon't feed the trolls, seriously when you see people arguing on the forums about stupid shit ignore it and block them. There are a lot of great people that play and are willing to help. Don't let the losers get you down. P.s. Aim for the head :)
