Yeah they are useless. They open laser doors by alerting everyone on the planet but they can fly through. So why dont we die, become one with or ghost, fly through and revive us again? Same as with the strike summoning pits? Why tells us to go that way so we get blocked by a door and he needs half a hour to open it, while taking the other way in takes us 10 minutes and no door to stop us! If he would land or ship at the spawn point of the moon we would be in the pit in minutes! So is or little light (dont call me that!) useless? Yes he is. Even eris makes more sence and she only talks to us a couple of missions. Even tho in siege of the warmind we are told to silence omnigul but we already encountered her in the first mission, straight after spawn. Or are we intended to dont pay attension and fly past them?
