No respect for Bungie
Seeing how they're taking Destiny in the wrong direction, I lost respect for Bungie. They're obviously not listening to the community and is just interested in money. This Bungie is the shell of what it once was. All the good workers left and now Bungie is a greedy, lazy ass group that likes to suck off the tip of Activision's dick. Rant ended.

1 RespuestaNot to sound like a hipster but I loved bungie since the Marathon days. Back then being able to aim up and down was a huge advantage. No mouse aiming on the Mac at that time. But the truth is this incarnation of bungie is not the same as the Marathon and Halo days. There is no point in being attached to a developer. I used to really like Gearbox until they ruined the Alien franchise with Colonial Marines. Thank god Sega fixed that with Isolation. I would still be playing Destiny if Bungie didn't ruin it. They didn't need to raise the level cap. They could have just made the raid give another set that set you to level 30. Why raise the weapon levels? I want to use all the guns, old and new. Halo didn't have MMO like levels and I never stopped playing that until Halo 2 came out. This was a fine game and Bungie just shit all over it. I don't think I will be getting Destiny 2 because I never know when Bungie will shot on me.

2 RespuestasIt's plain to see that the truly talented Bungie members either left or were fired. Those running Bungie now put screwing over their players as their biggest priority. No Story, No Vision, Lies upon Lies as to how Expansive, Mysterious and Enthralling Destiny would be. Destiny has a Mad-Lib produced plot, Brain Dead Enemy AI, Zero Surprises, just Endless Repetition. It has the most Boring and Dead game worlds ever encountered. What a GD waste. No way is Destiny gonna last 10 years in this appalling state! I'd say Destiny 2 actually getting made is a long-shot. Players have good reason to feel betrayed and let down by Destiny. Bungies former stellar reputation has been demolished, never again will pre-order or buy a Bungie game without giving reviewers time to find out how awful it is.

7 RespuestasThe only part I disagree with is the "only interested in money" attitude I keep reading about. Bottom line; of course their only interest is in making a profit, they are a company, it's what they do, so saying this cones off as pretty naive. However, if they truly were only interested in making money, they would have listened to their community, and not ignored it. That's a fantastic way to lose money in a hurry.

2 RespuestasAgreed. 343 Industries is much more respectable. They make a fan service, go back to halo's roots and spice up the new halos to come with new game mechanics while still remembering the importance of balancing. I love 343 industries now. Sincerely, 8 year Bungie loyalist.

1 RespuestaI'm still hopeful that destiny may someday evolve into the amazing game we were all promised. in it's current state, the game is just okay. I'm not going to swear off buying anymore Bungie products. but i will say this i will not be preordering anything from them . they've definitely lost that kind of trust with me. I'll be waiting and scrutinizing their next release well after release day before i give them another purchase.
