No unless they plan to do the raid for a whole two years to get enough of everything

11 RespuestasNo way. If the Mythoclast was sold you'd never have a reason to do the Vault.

Editado por Symbology: 12/8/2014 9:00:15 PMMaybe there should be other ways to get to 30 but I disagree with selling the gear/ gun. Just my opinion. There are still a few things I have not gotten through the raid and I've completed it around 40 times now. (Fatebringer & Timepeice) Just keep playing. IMO the raid is the most fun part of the game anyway. Edit: not trying to dis the author on this either but dude you only have 13 completions. You are gonna need to play it a lot more if you want everything.

Editado por SuppaMan: 12/8/2014 5:17:48 PMnice run on without any spacing and no, never should they sell that stuff they solve the issue with new expansion releases in mmos in this case i believe level 30 armor will be available for purchase now asking with new guns all they need to do for fairness is to make sure people can play new content, all they need for that is selling level 30 armor in this case, if they do anything more out would break the game

2 RespuestasRaid rewards shouldn't be for sale but it's ridiculous not to have other gear of similar quality available for pvp and non raiders who also paid full price for this game.

1 RespuestaYour just sad that you can't get any and your bitching so you can get what you want. Life doesn't work that way

4 RespuestasSome guy on twitch last night said he got the Mythocast from a 24 tiger strike. I called BS on that. Anybody heard this?

1 RespuestaEditado por Razzupaltuff: 11/11/2014 12:05:18 PMRNG isn't broken in Destiny. It is working perfectly. You haven't understood the mechanics of RNG. RNG means that something happens completely randomly. You are only right in a way insofar as the common RNG algorithms actually are pseudo random. For the purposes of a game, that is sufficient though. The way RNG currently governs every loot players receive in fact means that you haven't "earned" a great weapon or piece of armor when it got dropped for you after doing tons of strikes or raids. You may increase your chances to get some good loot, but the amount of strikes/raids any Destiny player can play only minimally affects that: Whether someone got an exotic gun after two or two thousand strikes doesn't make a difference in regard of Destiny's RNG (unless Destiny actually does control RNG by awarding a player an exotic drop when he has done a "sufficient" number of strikes). So the perception of having "earned" some great loot after having played a lot of strikes / raid is a completely wrong one. This perception is fed by the common concept of "work hard, and you shall get a nice reward". This however is deterministic, while the RNG is not. RNG / statistics means that for a sufficient number of samples the probability of a certain event to take place approaches 1. Still it doesn't mean it will happen after so and so many samples. The singular event never is predictable and always is absolutely, 100% random - for a true RNG that is; given the pseudo random character of the common algorithmic RNGs you will eventually see a certain random number be generated with 100% certainty. Depending on the value range of the RNG (could be 32767 or around 2 billon (2 ^ 31 - 1) this may however take a loooooong time. The people playing the weekly heroic strikes for strange coins are the only ones actually "earning" a reward (in the form of an exotic item from Xûr). They invest a certain time and effort for a certain reward that can be used to purchase an exotic item with 100% certainty. Given all that, providing players with a way to actually earn the resources (by implementing a 100% predictable and certain way to receive a reward in return for investing a certain amount of time and effort) to purchase raid gear and weapons would be the only way to actually make a player "earn" raid gear and weapons. I am however unhappy at the prospect of having to raid to earn such gear, because many people just don't have the chance to raid (including me: I did the raid a few times and I know well how to do it, yet despite being a clan member, having around 70 people in my friends list and following four Destiny groups, I am having constant problems finding a raid team due to my nightly playing hours). All other methods are just RNG, no matter how people feel about it. Disclaimer: All this is just logic and reason. If you disagree, you are having a problem with logic.

1 RespuestaI only have to read the title to know that this post is utterly stupid... Good god
-
Good news, the vendors that sell legendary gear will now sell gear with 30 Light for the same price as before.
-
4 RespuestasThe other thing is the raid just like every other game mode should be a choice...not forced on us so that you have to do it. Then to top it off it can take longer to find a solid group that actually joins and sticks out the raid than it is to beat the stupid thing. Me and friends have spent 45 minutes or more just trying to find players that would actually join while we just sit in the tower. I can't believe that its 2014 and this game barely has matchmaking and no damn voice chat outside of a private fire team. The raid is the big thing they really push us to do yet you have to sit in the tower while you look on the internet on your phone to find randoms to play with. Lol! The whole thing is so ghetto its almost sad.

1 RespuestaI dont agree. There is a reason why there is an activity associated to these rewards. You want these rewards complete the activity (the hardest activity in the game)
-
No one should be able to purchase anything raid exclusive
-
3 RespuestasNo, just no. Keep doing it until you get a vex. NO ONE should be able to buy that weapon
-
-
No. Keep trying.

5 RespuestasI'm still looking for a bunch of weapons and I have no lvl30 armor with the exception of an exotic armor piece. I just wish they would fix the RNG situation. I don't have a lot of time to run the Raid. I've ran it three times and I've got Chatterehites (sp?), Final Verdict and two of the same jump ship. I'd love to get some lvl 30 armor, Vex Myth, Ghorn, Ice Breaker, Atheons Ep, etc..
-
Just do the raid. It takes an hour to 90min with an okay party.
-
-
18 RespuestasHow about no. Beat the raid on hard a couple times like everyone else who got it.
-
Absolutely not. This completely negates the point of the hard raid. This would be an awful implementation.
