Awesome post for sure! I did not see this point of view before.
I should have because I've had discussions with game developers before and it is true that creating a sequel(s) is a lot easier than the first game, speciall when they are trying new this never seen before.
For me and many others I think that the sequel needs to be with all the great ones, the very few perfect games like for me Resident Evil 2 and Arkham City.
-Story story story! The gameplay and the music is top notch, but the story needs to be EPIC!
Bring in the drama, plot twists all the good shit Bungie. Bring in a seasoned veteran story teller to help out.(any ideas guys?)
-Everything else should fall under the category of more of the good stuff.
-The moment I picked up that sword I went insane, We really need more of that.
-At some point it would be awesome if we can really use our ships to navigate or even fight in them. It would be a shame to make it all the way to the 10 year mark and not have some type of ship interaction at some point.

This game begs for space battles as seen in "Long Night Of Solace" in Halo Reach.

^^^ Worst mission in the game... I don't wanna deal with vehicles in my FPS. I'd much rather crash land my space ship, into an enemy docking back, and get out and shoot... instead of flying around shooting..

I guess I forgot that there are people out there who don't simply enjoy all that games have to offer but are rather narrow minded in their tastes for gameplay.

100% truth. Most of the rebuttals in the negative posts . are comparing Destiny to every other game. Just let it be it's own game. No game will ever be able to surpass another game as long as it lives in the shadow of another game. Every space game gets compared to Halo or Mass Effect, every mmo gets compared to wow/guild wars or skyrim, every military theme game gets compared to Call of Duty\Battlefield.. Every moba gets compared to Dota and league of Legends.. Just appreciate what you can from their game. And trust they will make it better. Or trade it in for call of Duty modern warfare 8, assassin's Creed 9, or Candy crush 3 (Halloween Revenge)
