Huge issue with it being random is its allowing people to join crucible and afk, or afc if you will. I like the idea of it being random I just hope the non participants are dealt with extreme prejudice for taking advantage of the system

Editado por McCREE: 9/28/2014 12:53:10 PMI agree that anyone AFK should be eliminated from loot drops postgame.
-
Ok say at your job youve been in for years doing alot of hard work while a new guy comes in and -blam!-s around and when the check comes in you get payed shit while the new guy gets payed more for doing less. Then youd understand how its not fair.
-
Editado por McCREE: 9/28/2014 12:53:50 PMI already understand why you think it's not fair. I just disagree.
-
This is not your job, nor have you been 'playing it for years'. It's digital items in a digital game that mean absolutely fvckall in real life, where your JOB pays your ACTUAL fvcking bills, clothes and food. See the difference there?
-
Analogy. He was using one. A good one. If you do shit work you should get a shit reward.
-
Not a good one. A good one would have been: I signed on for a job, where my contract states my salary is totally random generated each month. Now after 5 months this new guy comes in, same deal. Then I got $ 500 this month while he got $ 3500!!! And I am forgetting, for the sake of my complaint, that next month the tables could be turned, where he gets $ 20 and I get $ 7000, because we all agreed we would be paid at random
-
We didn't agree it would be random.
-
You did, when you bought the game.
-
No I did not. By purchasing the game, which I didn't, you do not have to agree with anything the developers produce no matter what it is. Even if the game was purchased by someone else for someone else, like myself, and that someone plays the game the same logic applies. That person who played the game has options: A.) Like the game. B.) Don't like the game or feature and either quit playing the game or voice his or her opinion. I didn't agree to shit. Not even ToS. Never popped up on my screen.
-
Ok. So what are your option to change the system?
-
Now you are going into a different topic. This was about automatically agreeing with every single thing the developers produce or make in the video game regardless of good or bad decisions like a mindless drone.
-
Well, no, this was about if it is or isn't good that loot is totally random. Then it was about analogies. Then it was about agreeing to something by playing the game. And now it's about changing what you don't like
-
As it should be? No. Rewarding players that go 1 and 12 and giving the players at the top nothing is not how it should be. They should make it so that everyone has a chance to receive an item, thats fine, but give the players that did the best an extra roll or two for loot.
-
That would not be random. The loot system IS random
-
Yes...thank you. Thats the point
-
So the best get better and the casuals fall further behind? No thanks. Bungie is doing right by providing incentive to people that don't have time to play every waking hour. The larger the gap between the top level players and the casuals, the worse it will be for everyone. There is already a significant skill gap between these two groups; gear is a nice carrot that isn't incredibly important in PvP* that will keep the casuals coming back and keep PvP populated. *until Iron Banner, where skill will trump gear more often than not, anyway.
-
Rewarding the player that played the best and helped the team the most by giving them a slightly higer chance of receiving loot will certainly not affect it that much. And it will make the highest performing player feel a little better about giving it their all in the game
-
Editado por McCREE: 9/28/2014 12:56:31 PMI disagree. Furthermore, shouldn't the best players take gratification in contributing to a win? You guys need to stop acting like Bungie owes you something. There is plenty of opportunity to get loot. Plenty.
