No skill, shits so unbalanced, Auto Rifle = dead in 2 seconds, shotgun is a sniper... Wheres the real players who can go on a pulse rifle battle or at least give me a shot against an auto rifle.. lol what a joke. BALANCE THIS SHIT

  • I can only shake my head at of of you. Won't even learn the game before you start crying for blanket nerfs. Normally I'm not a jerk about this kind of thing, but its gotten out of hand way too fast with this community and it seems to stem mostly from people being... well, bad at games. Common complaints I'm hearing: Complaint: Map design supports close range encounters. Truth: Most of the maps have a healthy mix of open areas, corridors, and labyrinthine areas. Only one map is extremely tight and that's mostly noticible on control because the points are literally like 10 feet from each other. If you are finding yourself being engaged at unfavorable ranges, learn the map and take routes that allow you to react to incoming threats and advantageous positioning. Complaint: Auto Rifles are op. Truth: Every gun kills at about the same speed with slight variance based on impact. The problem is that you are missing your pulse/scout/rifle or hand cannon shots. If you want to kill as fast as an auto rifle, land your hits. This is auto rifles advantage, a deep magazine and a high RoF. They have more room for error up close, but I guarantee you that if you are at mid range and further and you are landing your pulse rifle/scout rifle shots, you will win that gun fight. All of the guns have a preferable range, stick to your weapons as often as possible. Complaint: Shotguns are OP. Truth: No they aren't, ammo is just too available. If shotguns didn't perform how they did now, they be useless bricks. They kill you in one hit at relatively close range, but they are supposed to. They are working as intended. Petition for an ammo nerf in crucible. Complaint: Titan special melee is op. Truth: I've never been on the receiving end of one, but if it truly is a OHK, then it does need to be dialed back in the crucible. Only supers, rockets, and special weapons should have OHK capability in PvP. Complaint: Nova and Fists of Havoc AoE is too large. Truth: I agree, however, don't nerf the range, make the damage decrease the further you are from the center of the attack. Having your toe caught by the edge the blast shouldn't kill you. Complaint: Blade Dancer is op. Truth: Kind of, but without the damage resistance it would be a useless super. The armor needs to be toned down a little though. I can understand tanking a shotgun, but a rocket? On that note, the armor frames on the start up of every special needs to be reduced. A titan shouldn't be able to get down to a sliver of health then use fists of havoc to tank 10 bullets, a shotgun blast and scorch then walk it off like it never happened. Warlock's armor is pretty bad during nova, but nowhere near as stupid as fists of havoc. Complaint: The net code is bad. Truth: it's actually pretty stable. I may have lag in 1 out of 9 matches and occasionally I lag out of pve, but its nothing that isn't common in any online game. If you are consistently lagging you may need to look into techniques on improving your connection just to ensure that it isn't a problem on you end. There are other, various complaints that I didn't touch on, but those are the ones I hear the most.
