When halo 3 was out and was a xbox 360 exclusive, I bought the 360 so I could play. I loved going to friends houses playing the first two so I was excited to have my own. Nobody complained that it was unfair for playstation players. Everyone just accepted it. When I heard about destiny I was stoked. I was missing a good game made by bungie and finally after all of these years of crap we finally have a new masterpiece. I knew that playstation got exclusives so of course I wanted to get the most out of destiny and bought a ps4. What I want to know is why is everyone complaining? You all knew playstation was going to have exclusives. They told us from the begining. So if your so upset that you have to rage to random people about how things are not going your way, just think back to when it was the halo 3 era. Just deal with it. Get a ps4 and shut up. And if u already got a xbox and really think it's so unfair, sell it, and get a ps4. Remember everyone go with exclusives, cause they are exclusive. See you star side guardians.

I'm just glad Bungie is taking their games to different consoles too. If I was an Xbox player I would congratulate PS4 players and I would actually be happy for them instead of bashing them and being jealous
-
Long time Xbox owners like to complain because what they don't understand is that Bungie was tied to a contract with Microsoft. Basically, Microsoft told them to make a bad ass game that everyone would wanna play... But only on Microsoft consoles. Now that Bungie is free from the shackles of Microsoft oppression, they can give the "bungie-hungry" Sony players a chance they never got with the previous Bungie titles.
-
1 RespuestaI don't get it either it's nothing new Microsoft is basically like the godfather of exclusive timed DLC. They did it with CoD, Skyrim, GTA 4, etc. Xbox One is getting exclusive timed DLC from The Division, Evolve, and Dragon Age Inquisition. Bungie isn't a first party studio for Microsoft anymore. Microsoft got to keep Halo also. The early access with the alpha and beta is to get the hang of PSN since they have plenty of experience with Xbox Live. The timed exclusives is so they can build a fanbase on Playstation since Bungie hasn't made a game for Playstation in 10+ years

I agree and I did the same thing when halo came out I bought an xbox now that destiny came out I bought a play station

30 Respuestas
And if u already got a xbox and really think it's so unfair, sell it, and get a ps4
This statement is just obnoxious and stupid, but back to the main point, this isn't an exclusive, it's a multi-platform game. When I hear multi-platform game, I think a game that is the same across all platforms, (graphics aside) destiny has (timed) exclusive content which is amounting to the same product being objectively better if you get it on the PS platform. Now that's just stupid, what if I can't afford to buy another console, what if I have friends on xbox? People shouldn't have to put weigh these options versus having an objectively better version of the game. Which is why exclusive content is stupid, and is never a good thing, you can't convince me other wise. -ps4 owner

I know... I've done my rant on this before so I won't again.

6 RespuestasThis thread. Wins. Bump. Playstation has never had a Bungie experience before, so they [bungie] wanted playstation users to get the amazing experience that Xbox had with Halo. I'm an Xbox gamer personally, and I'll be using my Xbox 360 to play Destiny for now until I can afford to get an Xbox One, but I love the fact that this playstation is being included with this one. You would think everyone would be happy that both consoles get to experience the game everyone has been waiting for. It's pretty sad seeing people, especially the "loyal fans" of the Xbox community complaining about the whole thing.

Wow. Groundbreaking stuff. This is a truly unique thread. B.net has never seen a thread like this before.

5 RespuestasExclusive game =/= exclusive content and support If Halo switched to PlayStation suddenly, that would be wrong. If Uncharted switched to Xbox suddenly, that would be wrong. If a studio that made exclusives for one company decided to make a whole new IP on another, that's fine. If a studio is making a multiple platform yet is paid by one company to support their console(s) more, that's annoying, but more or less fine (as long as it's nothing huge). If the above is either forced to or decides to mostly ignore the other half of their community, that's not fine.

13 Respuestasim gonna break this down for everyone..and to start, yes i own an xbox one. If sony owners can't understand why xbox players are a little disheartened by the fact that you get stuff before we do, even if it is timed exclusives then you obviously don't know what it means to have a great developer like bungie, make games specifically for you for 10 years. We played halo liberally and loved everything about it, so of course we want as much stuff we can get our hands on right of the bat. We get it, its business and its understandable, but don't get defensive when we wonder why a company who put 10 years of work on an xbox exclusive, aren't giving their major fan base the same stuff that people who don't know there games the same treatment. It would be the same for you if naughty dog came out with a new game and threw exclusive content to us. Its just the way its gonna be and we get it but don't be mad that were a little upset about it.

Let me start by saying that I own a ps4 and I hate these Whiney kids from team xbox but your point doesn't work. An exclusive game, like titanfall sounds nice and I can't play it, cos it's not coming out. That's why no one cares. But if you could get it, and someone told you that you had to wait until months after other people got to play it before you could it's very annoying. Imagine going into a store today to buy watchdogs and they just tell you no, every store tells you no. They sell it to your best friend but not you. You wanna play it, you have the money, your console is ready to play it, but your aren't allowed.

10 RespuestasThey aren't even exclusives lol. Just timed. If you'd seriously sell your X1 to get a PS4 just to get Destiny DLC a few weeks faster, you need to re-assess your life.

Editado por Chris: 6/25/2014 4:51:01 AMWell I still enjoy Halo. Destiny just has timed exclusives, except the alfa, pinned at PS4 players, although the xbox whinnying is getting on my nerves.
