Get an SSD and and get an external sound card instead of an internal one. External soundcards have better audio quality than internal ones because there is little to no interference in an external one. The ODAC + O2 combo probably has the best performance/prize ratio.
You should probably get a nice pair of headphones too like a pair of Beyerdynamics DT 880s or if you've got lots of money to burn then get the STAX SR-009 (you need a powerful Amp to drive them though).
I'd get a triple monitor setup if I were you. It's great for multitasking. I can watch a video, browse bungie.net, and play a game at the same time.
And something that IMO is a must have for a good gaming setup is a good mechanical keyboard. I have a Steelseries 6gv2 with red Cherry MX switches. It's a good cheap ($100) mechanical keyboard. If you've got money to spend and if you like high quality keyboards then get a Korean one like the KMAC 2 (some assembly and additional parts required).
Mechanical keyboards are not only more comfortable to type on but you can also customize them with some awesome keycaps!

What's an SSD? Lol, I'm really new to this. I have Astro A50's, so a headset isn't an issue. I also have 2 monitors with one on the way (as soon as I order this, which will be when I have 2 more people's consent.)

SSD = Solid State Drive. It works like a HDD but it's made with flash memory (like the SD card in your phone) so it's a lot faster. It is more expensive though, you get a 128 GB SSD for the prize of a 1TB HDD but IMO it's worth it.

120GB SSD + 1TB HDD WD Black² Dual Drive SATA-III 6.0Gb/s - 350 MB/s Read & 140MB/s Write Single Drive Is this better?
-
What are the pros/cons to using one instead of an HDD?
-
Solid state drive. Faster than a HDD.
-
What are the pros/cons to having and SSD over an HDD?
-
Con: SSD will deteriorate faster than HHD, are much more expensive, and don't store as much information. A power surge or outage may cause total memory loss in some models. Pro: Read (loading) and write (saving) speeds are much faster, almost silent, more shock resistant, and no mechanical parts. Closest relatable objects (they work most similarly to): SSD- USB drive, SD card HDD- CD, DVD, Floppy disk (if you're that old)

Editado por BritLemon: 5/20/2014 1:45:45 PMThings load/boot faster. Things write faster. It's solid state, so it's much harder to damage. Etc etc.
