Destiny is not a new Genre
There is no such thing as "Mythic SciFi", Bungie just wanted an excuse to call something Mythic.
Destiny is a Space Opera, that's all there is to it.
This genre has existed for decades, and Destiny s not even close to the first game to occupy it.
