If it does i hope the idea of competitive is "take 90% of the content out of the game", like it was for past games.

2 RespuestasLol. MLG is a joke.
-
2 RespuestasI hope not. The MLG wannabes made online play unbearable at times. We get it, your thumbs are better then mine.
-
Since the multiplayer maps are around the map, I think it highly unlikely to have MLG take part, as they would each have to fight their way to the "arenas". Whereas in COD by example it was just a button press from online multiplayer.
-
Probably not
-
FOCK NO
-
I only started using these forums yesterday.
-
Man I hope so that would make for some sick gameplays with all the supers and exotic weapons
-
1 RespuestaIf it did go mlg would their be game modes like free for all, or would that not fit it and they should just stick with team play.
-
4 RespuestasIt better.
-
I would find it highly unlikely. I can see a slim chance of it entering MLG (very slim, really), and if it does, it'll never replace Halo. The combat is just too different. They can't really be compared 1-to-1.
-
Maybe, but i hope the focus remains on PvE
-
2 RespuestasYeah I can understand where your coming from, as if this game entered the e-sports scene I think that this game would turn into cod, with them just really concentrating on multiplayer and not paying much attention to single player.
-
Hopefully not.
-
1 RespuestaYes but take call of duty for example. That has to have restrictions because, if anyone could use any weapon people would be using way more overpowered weapons then others and it wouldn't be fair, so there's going to have to be some restrictions.
-
1 RespuestaI personally think single player will be a massive hit, and multiplayer will be a add on.

Editado por FairlySplendid: 2/17/2014 4:40:55 PMDoes it has the potential for eSport or Pro Gaming? IDK. I would have to play it first. Will it be the next "Halo" of MLG? No, not in the strictest sense. Destiny has different gameplay mechanics and the game is structured a little differently. You can't bypass/ignore entire the game and go straight into Competitive Multiplayer. More likely, we'll need to look at games like MOBAs to gauge how to structure competitive gaming in Destiny. Things like incorporating and understanding builds. Structuring teams around their strengths and weaknesses. Basically, anyone who is trying to imagine how to shave down Destiny to make it fit inside Halo or COD's pro gaming "box" is looking at it all wrong and approaching it the wrong way.
-
that would be a good thing for the game because it will attract serious players looking for prizes and such. otoh, there's always a danger of it ending up influencing game design.
-
I think Bungie will target the competitive seen. They will try the best to make it a good spectator sport and try make it as popular as the moba games are.
-
Doubt it. To many games are competitive, so maybe Bungie will try to move from that and focus on cooperative.
-
Yes it will take over halo

9 RespuestasIt's possible! Esports is on the rise, and it's possible that Destiny might have the qualities neccessary to make it as a spectator sport. Wouldn't that be cool?
