>implying Bungie isn't making a Marathon game
They got it on the backburner as per contract by ATVI

Good.
-
They can't
-
And how would you know that? Unlike Halo, every other IP that Bungie has created (Marathon, Myth, etc.) are owned by them and they could return to make another whenever they wanted to. Nothing is physically stopping them from making a sequel to either of those series, the only reason they haven't is because they've been focused on Halo for the last 10 years and on Destiny ever since they left Microsoft.

They don't know marathon anymore. They will just make it halo. Marathon is different.

Editado por OrderedComa: 12/7/2013 7:57:06 PMWho said anything knowing? I said own not know, do you even know the difference between those two words? Bungie owns Marathon and can do whatever they want with it, they can never make another one or put one into production tomorrow because they're the owners of the IP. And you are completely and totally out of your gourd.....you do know that Halo was pretty much the logical evolution of Marathon right? Everything that started off the Halo franchise in Combat Evolved was an evolution of the gameplay and mechanics from within Marathon. So you're wrong, Marathon wouldn't be like Halo at all, because Halo is like Marathon. This conversation is now over.

They will ruin marathon
-
Um...what? Bungie is making a new Marathon game alongside the Destiny franchise. I believe that they're only allowed to have 5% of their entire staff working on the new Marathon game at any one time.
-
What if they -blam!- it up
-
They won't.
-
Well a lot of the team that made marathon left and the only people who helped make marathon that are still at bungie is Jason Jonas and Dave dunns maybe more idk
-
So? That doesn't mean that the game will suck.
-
Well look at halo 4
-
Editado por McRibbitt: 12/7/2013 8:49:01 PMThat's a completely different company's game. Not really a fair comparison.

Yes...you really should do your research...
-
I'm pretty sure a majority of people at bungie have no experience with marathon and the same can be said for 343 with halo
