2 is the big one for me. It started my lack of interest. The lack of on demand weapon experimentation after having it for 4 years just drenched me in apathy during Revenant. Then I saw this cycle of temporary coming combined with destination gimmick abilities instead of something new for our characters and that was it.
From WQ-TFS build crafting/diversity was supplied and encouraged through regularly providing new class options and bad luck protection. I played more because of that. Then to see it all stripped away in favor of power and loot throttling via a cycle of temporary and calling it content is just SO disappointing.
Maybe they don’t have the resources and manpower to do that anymore. If so, then it’s just not for me anymore. The game doesn’t look all that much like Destiny right now. It looks more like a corporatized engagement farm.

CEF.... lol for the CEO... Ya, I hate it seems like so many games and industries are going this route, milking the last remaining remanent of joy from glory days instead of just putting in the proper work to trust their fanbase and their own skills as content creators! Halo went down in a similar way.

Editado por Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 7/16/2025 8:15:49 PMI think the live service bubble is going to pop soon. They just keep trying to pump them out and most of it fails. I think people are getting tired of the exploitative nature of it.

I agree... and with AI and many developers making at least six figures salaries.... they have no excuse
