Update on the Restoration issue
Hello, everyone. We have an update on the issue affecting Restoration.
This is a complex bug that required some core restructuring of the way Restoration stores its timer data and heal strength logic, so we’d initially built the fix to ship alongside The Final Shape to make sure we had enough time to verify the fix and confirm it didn’t cause any additional problems.
Given the shift in our release date, we’re working on moving this fix up to one of our mid-season updates. We can’t promise any specific timelines just yet until we verify the fix in the new release branch, but we’ll keep you posted as we get closer to it going live.

3 RespuestasBungo: Sorry that we gutted all survivability and increased all difficulty. As a result we have bugged one of the only healing effects in the game to compensate. Expect it to be patched in 6 - 24 months. Enjoy.

So the timer resets to a lower value when picking up a fire sprite? Should I just avoid picking them up when I have time built up, or should I change my build? I'm a solar hunter with healing grenades, Ember of Empyrean, and Ember of Mercy. Sounds like Ember of Mercy can screw you over. But how do you get Restoration without it, other than your healing grenade? Do y'all just rely on healing grenade + Empyrean to keep it going?

It is an important communication exercise, and this old tortoise appreciates it.✅👍 Concerning the issue itself: as I’m a vanilla Guardian, and not really into ‘building’ indestructible armour sets and the like, ie, fully ‘optimised’ in the building department, much of these issues are beyond my comprehension…still, it’s nice to be more informed, even if it barely affects the way I play! 🤔 Keep up with the recent good Communication efforts; the sensible and reasonable Guardians amongst us, appreciate it. 👈 Cheers! 🫡

I would’ve actually preferred to wear the emblem that I obtained within the first week of this season’s dungeon, and not have to wait until 2024 to get it. ( Like the time you made me wait a actual entire year before finally remembering to deliver my Prophecy hoodie that was paid for. On top of the fact that all my former main clan mates at that time got theirs way before me. Had I not messaged Bungie Store on Twitter, I probably would’ve never seen it. ) I don’t rely on YouTube, or streamer content to complete solo/flawless runs, because I have a brain of mine own. In that regard, the emblem did hold some significance, but I’ve also learned this is what happens when you’re exceptional at this game. Always expect a random “f**k you” from whoever dictates the ecosystem of Destiny 2.
