8 RespuestasTo answer your question: yes, the curse loop is still in effect. As of yet we haven't found a power that can combat Riven's Curse, my personal theory on this is the only way to beat wish magic is with wish magic. In other words, if you ask me, the only effective way to resolve Riven's Curse would be a counter curse. We know from Season of the Lost that Mara has an extra Ahamkara egg stashed away in the Dreaming City. I could see a future season following the Final Shape where we hatch that Ahamkara egg and undo the curse on the Dreaming City, or risk making things a million times worse.

15th wish is the dreaming city curse.

There are triumphs that rely on activities and other happenings related to the weekly curse, and I would guess that it's too much effort to decouple them.

Probably still a thing because game mechanics and all that

7 RespuestasThe sad thing is the curse could easily be broken if someone wished for Riven to be untaken. Although we see her as bad, she was originally good and helped the awoken as well as served Mara. So untaking her would break the curse since the curse requires us to kill her.

1 RespuestaDark Future lore back in Beyond Light actively confirmed that Elsie Bray never saw the Curse broken during all her loops, with it only wasting resources better used in the fight ahead. It’ll either be left as is forever or actually conclude post Final Shape.

the latter took them a decade to finally do something with the ishtar collective, probably going to take them just as long before they pick up the dreaming city again
