Bungie, your lack of Server stability is actually killing the game.
I don't even want to play anymore three times today me or someone in my fireteam has been disconnected Mid GM, Twice during raids and four times during Gambit, And that's in one day. What happened to your game to get to this point?
Did you lay-off/fire half of your good programmers and server techs? Did you piss off the IT department? What happened?

4 RespuestasI'm so salty I can't find it now, but just the other day someone posted a video of a press conference, or meeting of some kind with a Bungie dev. It was an hour long explanation of how Bungie operates on a few levels, and he outright said they don't care about quality, its all about quantity, volume, how fast they release content, to which he stated, "its because of player demand" and them basically trying to listen to the players. So they literally are purposely putting out cut rate content because they decided mistakes are bound to happen (100% correct) and they are purposely pursuing these mistakes "so they can learn" and because apparently this approach works really well, according to their player metrics. but I don't feel like much learning is happening back there. These connection issues lately are really reflecting this mentality though. I've been struggling too, along with my friends. Destiny connection failure, always a "marionberry" after "weasel" or "bee" actually disconnects my computer from the internet, and while I only have to disonnect my ethernet cord from the computer, then plug it right back in to get internet back, the fact that this game is so poorly developed this happens semi regularly, only with Destiny 2, and in the same way every time, is mindblowing. I have zero connection issues anywhere else within my system. Bungie error codes will always say its you, because responsibility isn't something they generally take, but let's be honest, we all know. But hey that's business "deflect, deflect, deflect" that's the proper answer for everything.

Its because they're leaning more on the P2P connection rather than their "hybrid" server supported connection. Which means cutting their costs.

Dude, it's literally been falling apart at the seams for a few years now. Duct tape and the promise of Sony money to keep the decent devs staying have been the only things keeping it alive. Well that and picking the process of elimination on what to sunset since they still wanted to stick to using an extremely dated spliced halo engine to make D2 in the first place, which comes with a shitload of issues in its own right ◉_◉

the server stability is not killing the game. the servers have always sucked and bungie keeps right on selling expansions. we're willingly accepting a broken product and encouraging bungie to keep on doing what theyre doing. these effed up servers have been in the same state for almost a decade. the game wont die because we wont allow it. no matter how much the servers suck.

Been like for years comes and goes but at the moment it the worse I’ve seen actually the invisibility was annoying. No other game have I had so much connection issues 🤷🏼♂️

Yep. Got kicked 3x in 20min with the "bee" error. F**K this sh!t already. All that money and the fact we went all weekend with radio silence just shows bungies true feeling towards us.

Was kinda disappointed was helping a buddy get vexcalibur last night got to the 3rd phase of the final encounter then my guardian stepped on a BEE

I just don't do anything that takes more than half an hour anymore. If I do, chances are I'll get booted. I still get booted, but at least I don't lose as much progress. At this point I only play for the smooth gunplay.
