Take off icarus.
Reduce aim assist.
Make it high risk high reward.
On controller you don’t really even have to try. Bullet magnetism is so forgiving it might as well be pre-nerf Arbalest in shotgun form.
Is it broken, no. But on certain maps I have extreme difficulty picking a counter when the one hit kill range is so oppressive. SMGs and Sidearms can’t really shut it down unless your opponent misses. It’s just not fun to play against.

It doesn’t have icarus lmao. Hitting in air shots with it is a whole different skill in itself.

1 RespuestaIt doesn't even have crazy aim assist. To be good with chap u really have to train hard for it bc if u miss u mostlikely die. It is high reward high risk. Spread shot guns do great against it so do fusions or grenade launchers. Side arms n subs can crap on it if u keep distance for a second n stay alive.

And yet someone are still crying over chappy. Like you have to be some kind of "aim frieko" to use this gun. I mean only like 10% of players can aim with it.

U do need to aim, use it and youll know

28 Respuestassmg’s and sidearms have NEVER been the counter to shotguns. You can’t counter the king of close range weapons with another close range weapon. Your only hope is to outrange them, and if you are being ruthlessly dominated by someone with a shotgun, just plain do not go inside buildings. Make them come out in the open. Shotguns really don’t have that high of a skill ceiling. When someone is in your range they are quite easy to hit, the rest is just hoping for someone to rush into you like an idiot, or isolate themselves. Shotguns are about exploiting peoples mistakes, if you’re having a hard time against them, there’s some holes in your FPS skill set you need to patch up :)

I'm just going to cry to bungie to nerf it

5 RespuestasAnother PvP wanted nerf. You never hear about nerfs in PvE. Always PvP. And when they do it, they screw up PvE. Because the sandbox relates to each other. They can tweak individual aspects, but it still relates. They tweaked mida back in D1 because of PvP. It was never again used in PvE. They nerfed Outbreak in D1 because it was “too stable”, it literally destroyed it all around, PvE included. Because it had nothing to with damage, just stability. They tweaked colony because of PvP to have fewer spiders and less individual damage, it became less effective in PvE and took a backseat. They lowered the range of Legend of Acrius in PvP, and PvE then required you shove it up a guys butt to do full damage (impossible with all these stomps now) thus people stopped using it. They nerfed the hell out of whisper because it’s aim assist and high body dps in PvP (and other reasons), with no ranged encounters and hardly any aim assist it’s extremely hard to use well in PvE. They lowered the tracking on Truth because of PvP. Still good. Just saying it was nerfed solely because of PvP. This is just what I can remember. Point is that almost all nerfs are PvP related unless it’s overused in raids, because it works. PvP drives the downfall of a lot of exotics or archetype nerfs.
