I am at 1338 power. All of my gear is 1320. In order to raise my power up further, I need to just get XP. Just any XP. So gear alone doesn't bring you close to the Grandmaster (or Master raid) level. Now I need to mindlessly grind bounties and run old content until I am bored to death and raise that power level up once or twice after an entire week. I need 700K. I just ran a gambit match and one strike. I got 25K after both of those. I NEED 700k! Is this a joke? This is what the game has turned into now? Gear doesn't get you to max level, or near max level? Now we have to mindlessly grind XP for hours and hours and raise this bonus power level in order to do the end game content? What the hell happened? This doesn't make me grind more. That is as boring as this boring ass game gets. This makes me quit and play other games. Good job Bungie.
