At first I was against it, because they struggle to make content already, but now I’m starting to think that they should separate PVP and PVE. For example, who thought that heir apparent was balanced in PvP? They also supposedly nerfed HC and shotguns, but that still the meta. It honestly feels like 80% of players use a shotgun (specially hunters). Another solution would be to introduce a new game mode with limited weapon types. I know that people would find the easiest cheese weapons, but at least you wouldn’t have several apes scraping their ass to get a shotgun kill.

2 RespuestasI think when it comes to balancing the game Bungie saying...
We want weapons to feel the same across the board.
Is one of the funniest lines Bungie has ever posted being the game is supposed to be a looter shooter😄🤦♂️
Sorry Bungie, that has been and will always be impossible in this game knowing how you actually designed it.
3 RespuestasI dont see the point... the weapons perform exactly how the developers want them to.
-
Yes, god -blam!- yes however, I highly doubt anyone at bungie will move they asses to actually do anything
-
They should, but I don't really see them making the effort.

Should have been separated since day 1 D1 but bungie is too fking stubborn and unwilling to play/test their own game to care. All they worry about is what will make plebs throw money at the screen. Games haven't been created to be enjoyed for years. They are only made to make money now.
-
They should close down shop completely!
-
No shit. 6 years we have been asking for this. They don't care and don't want to do it.
-
They can’t handle one, how they gonna do two ?

Editado por $hirtless Captain Kirk: 7/23/2021 7:21:38 PMThey clearly can't. This has literally been an issue since the vanilla release of D1 and persists to this day. About 7 years. They are either unwilling or unable to do it. Neither of which is acceptable. They probably don't want to spend the money. What Bungie doesn't seem to comprehend is the intangible ASSET called goodwill. I may have stuck with Destiny for all these years, but it has to some degree left a bad taste, and I certainly will NEVER get into one of their IPs ever again. That "Matter" crap they're working on, can guarantee you I won't be on board and the MAIN REASON will be the studio that made it. I don't particularly want to do business with them in the future. They may skate by with this BS on the Destiny franchise and look like it's all good financially, but they're not really gonna feel the burn until the next FULL game release and that seems to be a new IP. They're a bunch of cheap skates and have been with or without Activision. That whole narritive was complete BS btw.

Never gonna happen. Everyone and their mother has asked. Bungie has said no unequivocally several times. Stop asking.
-
Yhea they should ...people's asked that since D1 The issue is of they going to do that it will be on Destiny 3....but separating the 2 could result in more trouble than it's worth for...so as much as I want to see it...I doubt it's a realistic change they will make.... But with what I've seen lately fps PvP games might die sooner or later because of the new ways to cheat.....

Bungie - “What’s a sandbox?”
-
unfortunately Bungie said they have no intention to do this but i think its becoming more and more essential every time they release new content.
-
-
Yessssss 100%
-
They should completely separate PvP and PvE so PvE players don't have to play that joke of a game mode.
-
Without having to read the post... Easy answer, yes.
-
-
Not even gonna read the post, yes they should be separated
-
The specially hunters part…
-
I've said this for years. If making specific weapons and armor for PvP is too hard at least give it a PvE & PvP stat roll. Meaning in PvE it has this "Insert Stat", and PvP has this "Insert stat". All in all I think that gear earned in PvP should just be for PvP, and thus vise versa for PvE.

My biggest drive before D1 came out was that Destiny is going to be a game that you can go do some pve, get some weapons, and take them to the crucible and test them out against other guardians. Bungie will separate some weapons here and there but in the long run, paraphrasing from the two sandbox devs that were on the DCP firing range podcast, they (Bungie) want your weapons to feel the same in both pvp and pve.

1 RespuestaEditado por TheArtist: 7/23/2021 1:02:21 PMYes. Next question? 😎 Seriously though, we’ve been asking for that for years. Bungie has the habit of trying to spin things that they are forced to do by the limitations of their tools, as if they are things they’ve chosen to do. Given how stubbornly Bungie has clung to the unified sandbox, despite the endless problems and headaches it creates for the game and for the devs? I have to assume that they either can’t do it, or don’t want to commit the resources it would require to do it. So they say, “We chose this! This is Destiny’s ‘superpower’!” (Eye roll)
