I'm curious how much this changes the experience on consoles.

1 RespuestaOh boy. Old gen players at 1080p 30 fps playing against new-gen players at 1080p/4k at 60 fps. This won't be a problem.
-
4 RespuestasHonestly 4K at 60 is dumb it’s gonna be with low textures. I’d rather have 1440P at 100 fps with medium high textures
-
What experience? It's going to be the same as when D1's first Christmas on PS4. No one will be able to play for a week because of the overload.
-
2 RespuestasI’m surprised there’s not more of a uproar for the month delay to FOV and 60fps after release day of next gen with beyond light. For a lot of ppl u got a month of good content playing with the new dlc, prob less. Personally I think the delay is on purpose to retain players playing there game. I think it’s a dirty move!
-
25 RespuestasIt makes no difference because the next generation consoles are sold out everywhere except eBay.
-
Are they going to optimize the game and make it a good game again? Because that would make me start trying to obtain a PS5 again.

22 RespuestasEditado por Yosemite Sam: 10/15/2020 11:55:13 PMAfter watching the Halo gameplay trailer, I know where I'm going to be spending a lot of time. It doesn't matter how good destiny will look or if the load times are fixed. It's still not going to fix the actual issues this game has. Besides that, I'll wait before I buy a new Xbox and PS and let them try to work some of the kinks out. It's never a good idea to buy the first releases...

Hopefully the fov slider can go to 105.
-
Is that a disclaimer/diversion as to why it’s not available Day1?
-
2 RespuestasThe big question will be whether the next generation changes give those players an advantage in PvP over the players not upgrading.. 🤔
-
I must admit, I didn't think they'd add an FOV slider. A very pleasant surprise. Increase in framerate and FOV is a huge QOL improvement.
-
12 RespuestasSo are we stuck with 4K 60 FPS or will there be options for 120 FPS at 1440 or even 1080P? Would rather have the frames over the 4K tbh.....
-
How unfortunate that we had to wait for 6 years, and a new console to get it.
-
4 RespuestasI for one cannot stand wide angle lense views so I dont care for it either way. But have at it those of you that do. I just want my character to move at the same speed pc guardians do.
-
3 RespuestasWhy post "free" as though adding basic functions are a gift 😂
-
10 RespuestasAs a non PC gamer my whole life I need to start experiencing the constant 60fps all the PC guys talk about.
-
You have no idea how loud I screamed when I read this. THANK YOU, BUNGIE!
-
13 RespuestasWhat would a good fov number be for console then?
-
22 RespuestasI'm buying the Xbox series S, and I'm really really excited for these changes

Dang I was so looking forward to a 60fps Beyond Light on my launch day PS5...
-
Free😱 how generous

2 RespuestasWhen I saw this topic I thought it was fake. That's pretty crazy. If the new maps are decent I might almost enjoy Crucible. The nose-bleed FOV gives me a headache. Too confining. I feel like I'm under water. This is huge news. This is going to blow the minds of a lot of players. I wish Bungie would give us more information about how changes like this got pushed through. Was it one person's passion to make this change? A small team? Who ever it was deserves recognition. Excellent work!

I'm deffo looking forward to playing D2 on my Series X on launch day.

1 RespuestaConsole players, don't go above 101 FOV, for some forbidden reason it starts to look like panorama picture, stick with ~95 FOV.
