Bungie is refusing to answer because the cost of transmog will likely be gross causing community outrage. They plan to release the information probably 1-2 hours before beyond light to mitigate losses in profit.

agree that the news on how to make permanent cosmetic unlocks out of gear is gonna cost some redonk amount of grinded materials gonna be a brute force sledgehammer /timeplayed mechanic to drive the live service cash shop
-
Or because they haven’t even decided. They said back in June that it was in *Early Development* so I don’t think they have thought up how much it will cost
-
Requiring the armor piece of not has nothing to do with the cost of Transmog. Shut your trap.
-
No, Luke Smith said recently not to expect any transmog info until season 14 or so. So waayyy after BL drops.
-
I just stopped playing D2 because they cant deliver quality content. Im going to be playing cyberpunk 2077 this Winter.
-
Damn wouldn’t it hurt if you didn’t buy Beyond light and they did actually bring great content. That would really hurt in my opinion, though I’m probably not going to get cyberpunk because I want a game I can play for a good amount of time and still comeback to and there be new things. Cyberpunk is just like a Fallout game where the only thing about it is that you replay the same thing but with different options. I don’t really see the fun in that but that’s just me.

Cyber punk will have multiplayer and free dlc
-
The multiplayer isn’t supposed to come out for like another year. Also a free dlc can be many different things
-
Actually they said multiplayer should be a month after launch buddy
-
When did they announce that?

The reason I choose CD project red over bungie is because they prioritize quality over quantity. I personally don't care if they take their time. It just means that they care about the product they are releasing. I personally feel bad for bungie studios right now. They are stuck in a COPFU (circle of perpetual -blam!- you) right now. They simply don't have enough manpower or money to make any good content advances. They are basically living off of a dlc to dlc pay check that barely makes them money. I have checked their job site, and it does seem they need a ton of spots filled. Hopefully they are trying to rebuild their studios manpower. Also, on a side note, I am not missing anything. If I see the content is good after it drops I may purchase it. Pre ordering at this point is a fools gambit. Don't get sucked into the Gamblers fallacy. ~no hard feelings

Editado por MillionPlayz YT: 9/10/2020 10:22:33 AMI do think they have enough money but I do agree with the manpower stuff. Eververse made $300,000,000 alone last year and with how much eververse they’ve given us this year, I wouldn’t be surprised if they made around the same amount.
-
They might be using the $300,000,000 just to hire more people. A triple AAA dev setup is expensive as hell. Each work station is probably worth a small fourtune and hiring people to do high quality work costs a shit ton of more money. If I were to guess given the amount of job openings they have plus their funding. I would guess more workstations and personell are whats on their mind right now. (They after all did lose a lot of manpower during the activision split.) Without this explanation, what else on earth would they use that much money for?

Not really considering even if this dlc does well Bungie will most likely -blam!- up again on the next dlc. They've been doing it since Destiny 1 and i doubt it'll ever change they'll eventually ditch the game for a new title. Whether it's Destiny 3 or something completely different, i've gone from being a Bungie fan boy because they made one of my all time favourite games Halo which i grew up playing. To outright disliking the way the company is going. My reasons for disliking Bungie have stacked up since Destiny 1 so here it's. Lack of realisation at what the fans want. Constantly making the same mistakes and expecting the lore to hold up the games story. Breaking the loot system multiple times. Not releasing enough content to play and now taking content away as well as hard earned loot, also most likely not even putting enough new loot back into the game to compensate the loss of said loot. Reskinning loot and sending it back to players to grind for hours to obtain again. Bugs oh bugs pinging off the map for no reason. Boss stomp every few seconds Lack of balance between pvp and pve, this one struck home because Destiny 1 pve was mostly what i played Destiny 2 not so much. Nerfing everything making the game feel like a husk some nerfs were justified though. Cheaters everywhere probably one of the most recent gripes i've had with the game. Community being overly toxic kinda Bungies fault because of all of the above, i'm sure i missed out a lot more problems that annoyed me at one point. This one never really bothered me that much but i know it does quite a few people. i used to blame Activision but ever since Destiny 2 released i've started to lose more and more faith in the way this game is going. I was a die hard fan who loved destiny and was in denial for the most part of it but at least it was somewhat fun, now it's like working a job and not a good job a mundane repetitive job that doesn't give any satisfaction at all. Don't get me wrong i love mmos i've played Black Desert Online probably one of the grindiest games i've ever played. Star Wars The Old Republic. Lord Of The Rings Online. World of Warcraft. Guild Wars 2. Final Fantasy 14 Online The list continues, Destiny 1 managed to scratch an itch i've had with games i'll give it that, but Destiny 2 makes me itch all over so to speak. Cyberpunk is a game i am definitely looking forward to i played the Witcher Trilogy I loved it the company seems to care Capital S in Seems. They could get greedy at any moment but that been said CDPR is the company i trust the most at the moment. But if you want me to give a better example of a game that'll be a dream mmo, i'd say Ashes of Creation. If it pulls off what i've heard i'll ditch destiny for good and put my characters to the grave. This game may keep evolving and changing but the way things are going i doubt it'll be significant. Look at transmog pretty much every mmo i've listed has had it since release as far as i know. Destiny has taken nearly a decade to add it and only just started refering to itself as a looter shooter mmorpg. The loot now after BL will make destiny feel even less like a looter shooter than before and mmorpg my ass. Already the red flags with BL have started to appear for one it's been delayed for Bungie that never bodes well mark my words this'll be a disappointment Anyway hope you didn't Pre Order and enjoy your evolving public events if i'm wrong in a couple of years i'll admit it but i doubt that'll be the case. (PS this is just my opinion on the games past current and future state so if you disagree that's your choice)

Editado por MillionPlayz YT: 9/9/2020 12:00:46 PMOk I’m agree with most of what you said but really you think the delay is bad. Cyberpunk has been delayed 3 times now and I don’t think it will be a bad thing so I don’t really blame bungie for delaying it. I mean they only had 6 months in the studio and was still able to push each one of these seasons out without delay so I’m giving them a free pass on that. Also they did state that the reason this season’s activity was a public event was because they pushed all there recourses into the dungeon. So I do think they will change for just public events in year 4
-
I'm finishing up arrivals while I wait for Baldur's Gate 3 to drop soon and then I'll see about cyberpunk too! 😁😁
-
Awfully ambitious to think that it is dropping with beyond light. They never said it was. Probably spring the absolute earliest.
-
The hilarious thing is that this sounds totally plausible.
