No misdirecting at all. If one publicly states how f’n hypocritical a company is and disagrees with their stated values yet continues to play their game? Is that not hypocrisy?
It’s just spouting empty words
Explain to me how that is not hypocritical?
Let’s say for the sake of argument that drawing attention to the hypocrisy of the companies actions was followed by the same user playing the game.
You can call them a hypocrite if you like, but that doesn’t change Bungie’s actions. Their actions are still hypocritical even if you want to try to misdirect the focus onto the user making the comment.
Doesn’t really matter if they are hypocritical or not in the context of drawing attention to the hypocrisy of the companies public statements.

The dude is being a hypocrite Don't worry about it. If you spend the time to call out a businesses morals and values and say that they're disgusting and you're still playing their game or supporting their product then you partake in said hypocrisy. What people like to say however is that they are unknowingly involved and don't wish to be part of it. It's kind of like how some people stated that they will never support gearbox because of the dev team abuse during borderlands 3.. Well if they stop supporting the company then they're standing by their word. You have to pay attention to these bait and switch people.
