Sid Meier defines a game as "a series of interesting choices". In Destiny, that's what class you play, what gear you wear, what mods you socket, when you use your abilities, when you use your power ammo, which enemies you shoot first, and where you stand/go next.
However, do those decisions even matter when a single stomp sends you past where you can jump back into the boss arena, instantly wiping you back to before the boss fight?
I spent who knows how long kiting that boss, fighting waves of Cabal, running from one Vex circle to the next (having to run for my life several times and return before finally clearing them), chipped the boss down to low health and finally got knocked out of the arena. I turned to make the jump back in, and... dead.
What's the point of putting in that kind of effort if a stomp is what decides the outcome?

Not gonna lie, the amount of CC in the sundial is starting to get to me. Why the cabal arm their troops with anything but phalanx shields is an absolute mystery to me.
