Couldn’t PvP players say the same thing about PvE?
You know, not understanding why PvE players stick around when there are far better PvE games out there...
Destiny has been a triumph of mediocrity—-PvP and PvE alike.

Because even though a few items are mediocre like the stories and adventures, they really bring it home with the endgame activities. They are masterpieces.
-
When a WoW raid could function with 20 or even 40 players with fewer glitches than using the sword in a 6-person Crota, I think not.
-
You can’t compare WoW raids and Destiny raids. They are completely different. And you can’t tell me there aren’t glitches in WoW raids. I’ve played my fair share to encounter a good number of them. And glitches come with every game, they aren’t based on Bungie’s coding skills.

Maybe the following example can better illustrate my point. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgjkth6BRRY Vs https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XgnQpxhCPfA Of the two of these, one is a masterpiece, the other is Gwen Stefani.
-
Why wouldn’t you compare the pieces? That’s how you know masterpieces. You can’t say “Yeah, this is a masterpiece, as long as you don’t compare it to masterpieces.” The things that make something a masterpiece transcend genres and mediums. Compare David to The Sistine Chapel painting... They are not both masterpieces because one is a sculpture and one a painting. The level of mastery is what makes them masterpieces, i.e. the level of attention to detail. A true masterpiece will still be a true masterpiece when compared to other masterpieces, it is what makes them masterpieces.

real simple WoW is not on console and not a shooter
-
This doesn’t make destiny endgame activities masterpieces...
-
Ok, since you’re going to be obtuse... FFXI and FFXIV are both on console...FFXI was on PS2... PS2!!!! Your pointing out that destiny is a shooter is an excuse, not a point. Shooters have nowhere near the graphics involved in an mmo or most RPG’s. By your reasoning, the raids should be even better because they have less to process. The endgame activities would only be considered masterpieces by those who have never seen masterpieces...
-
I meant that console and shooter are the reasons why PVEers continue to play. There are no other games that give you fps, raids, strikes, and console in 1 package. On the flip side FPS PVP is a flooded market with unarguably better titles that encompass just about everything destiny has to offer with pvp

Editado por celeb2112: 10/25/2018 10:40:18 PMSaying that they do it and stating they do it masterfully are two different things.
-
.....What? I never said any of those things. for argument sake let's say pve is trash and pvp is trash why do you play?
-
As far as why I play... Friends who play... That’s pretty much it.
-
Speed reading some times gets me... You’re right, you never said those things and I got you confused with OD. My point is that this game is not just a shooter or an FPS, it is also an rpg. The raids were glitchy enough that they couldn’t be called masterpieces when compared to other games and activities that run better, are more graphics intensive, and on slower systems... Not in function, not in content....
-
Yeah, not really.
-
Honestly, I couldn't argue against anything you've said here.
