Also the enemies (for PVE anyway) die with a smidgen of health left, check it out next time you kill and add. Also Hit detection shit the bed for both PVP and PVE.... Please start banning enemies due to lag switching, oh and thanks for restricting me in Gambit when i got Dc'd from your end.
**EDIT**
Thank you everyone for the positive replies! We need to make sure Bungie does something about the overall network lack of performance since 2.0, it's got much worse then it has been. Again just last night we were playing gambit and everyone was kicked just as the match was ending. Thankfully no one got restricted but it made us cautious because we didn't want to get restricted or banned from the game mode..... Needless to say we tried to do a tower run and got buffaloed..... I don't think their hotfix patched problems and since there are so many people experiencing them across all platforms it really needs to be addressed.

I have been lagging in crucible lately but when I switch to pve activities it works perfectly fine anyone have an idea why?
-
They can't code 4 💩, and they obviously don't value us as customers to continue to deny us those dedicated servers; we know we need and deserve.
-
Destiny's PVP has always been poor, but since Forsaken has come out, it's gotten ridiculous! Horrible hit detection, and very bag lag compensation just makes it not fun anymore!
-
Still getting the stutter, incredibly annoying at this point.
-
Yes the game is having a meltdown.
-
6 RespuestasIt does take an extraordinary long time to load into anything. Tower, crucible, destinations. I have time to go downstairs make a drink, grab a snack, argue with the wife and come back up. And I live in a lighthouse.
-
Yes, it’s really bad

Editado por Celoxamortis: 9/13/2018 9:28:43 PMGod yes. In PVE it's particularly bad in strikes, at least on Xbox One. Killing enemies only to have them pop back up with half health. Enemies spawning in late. Bugs that keep doors locked even after killing all the mobs (like the cave heading into Alton Dynamo in the Xol strike). I've seen more "Loading..." screens after 2.0 than I have since the vanilla D1 days. In Gambit and PVP, I've just accepted that rubber banding is the new normal. Didn't have this problem pre-2.0, not even in the most hectic of PVP or PVE encounters. Nevermind the fact that I don't have this lag and rubberbanding issue in any other game, not even over on Splatoon on the Switch which has notoriously bad netcode (16Hz tick rate, lol) and known homebrew hacks.

Servers went to shit, constant anteater/weasel, my internet is fine. Can’t even complete D/W
-
Connection is so bad running over motes in Gambit doesn't register at all. Enemies lose health and the bars refill partially. Long loading screens. All on One X.
-
1 RespuestaKeep bumping this, this needs to be acknowledged for the amount we've paid, it's not good enough.

11 RespuestasI have never seen Destiny in such a state of bad-optimisation. I'm sure playing it on an xbox one doesn't help, but it is definitely worse after the DLC. I've never seen so many loading screens while travelling across the map - strikes just basically stop if people are loading in leaving you to decide to wait 5 minutes or just leave and start over - health bars in crucible and Gambit flicker making you think momentarily that you've done more damage than you have - menus take forever to load up, sometimes the clan list doesn't load at all - enemies disappearing and reappearing in a different place while you're shooting them.... again, this could be xbox related, I suppose.

Finally someone who gets a lot of thumbs up with this subject. When i made a couple of same posts, they dissapeared in no time. My average Quick Play k/d was around 2.5, before 2.0 update and now i die from 1-2 shots, i see many enemies appear too late on my screen and my bullets often don't register. Bungie really fixed the game. PvP is not enjoyable any more. The same with Gambit. Some matches i need double bullets as in the other matches and in some matches i die immediately from the enemy bullets and in the other matches i can take more.

Love being on my sparrow and hitting a five minute “loading” area...
-
Oh, I thought void knives was for attacking walls and golden guns were supposed to shoot through people and not kill them. Man have I been wrong
-
Most definitely have noticed a lot more lag and more frequently happening while playing PvE.. I've seen more "Loading" messages when transitioning from one area into another in the last week than I did in all of year 1. Then there is the pain in the ass lag with the UI, from bringing up your inventory to tabbing across the pages as well as viewing items. I no longer go into the emote wheel since that has gotten far worst.

Editado por PR4X1S: 9/13/2018 5:44:52 PMPVE runs towards objective, 🏃🏃🏃when suddenly 🚹...loading?.....loading.....🚹.😬 I experienced nothing like this back in the days of Halo 4, my net is a hundred times better now also, lemme guess Microsoft ain't there to subsidise those dedicated servers we know we deserve and need. PVP Aims gun at target when blink...blink...WTF have hunters still got blink or is that person lagging all over the map, ah finally I have them in my sights.. empties full Mag into them...😱WTF their not taking damage 👄AHHH.

3 RespuestasFramerate can get REALLY choppy at times, worst I've seen it yet in any Destiny game. Obviously there isn't as much optimization happening with Forsaken, likely since the team in charge is more of a "high level" team of devs. Think of it like somebody selling you a pre-built website, and you just plug in the words, change the font, colors, backgrounds etc... but really don't know anything about HTML coding. You can make due and make it look good, but no doubt there is some sloppiness going on behind the scenes with the copy & paste coding. Don't get me wrong, the new team clearly knows how to make the game much more fun than the original team ever did, but they could use some help with optimization.

Editado por Eqitx: 9/14/2018 12:19:29 PMPeople is already mass leaving to make space for red dead, give it a couple weeks and it will fix it by itself once a few thousands are left online like always 😂

2 RespuestasOn the PS4 Pro, opening the inventory takes forever. Compared to PC, it takes nearly an extra day longer to open. Someone needs to make that inventory code more modular or something. The frame rate drop off is really noticable when you pick up an engram. The new _instant engram decode_ is my likely suspect here. The game is now trying to RNG your loot in the middle of a busy fight, taking away performance from graphics. One solution is to not pick up engrams, until after you kill everything. Or leave them to go to the Postmaster and open them in the tower. You can check what is at the Postmaster using the mobile app. Hopefully Bungie can improve some of these issues.
-
Yes I've noticed it.
-
No different than before honestly. Played about 15 gambit matches yesterday and actually ran into no lag.
-
I noticed load times took a while when moving in between areas at the destinations.

2 RespuestasDestiny 2 Loading screen simulator is what i have been playing .
-
1 RespuestaLag and horrible FPS drops. Clearly running in the teens st times on PS4. This was a nonissue before the big patch and Forsaken.
-
Yep some -blam!-er lagged all across my screen all game and when I told him to upgrade his router from a Tomodachi to something a little more advanced he told me I was the one who was lagging.
