Including D2 in this post because i somehow managed to derive some fun out of it myself.
Here are some of my favorite moments from both games:
D1
-Anyone else remember how ball-crushingly hard Fallen SABER was originally? Damn i felt so amazing the first time i killed that fkin boss. Easily my most satisfying boss fight ever.
-SRL was amazing. I loved the intro cutscene, the shaders were super sweet, and sparrow racing in general was remarkably solid from a gameplay perspective. It didnt feel repetitive, the loot was satisfying for the most part, and the feeling of winning was AMAZING. I miss those days.
-The House of Devils and Devil Splicers are to this day my favorite enemies in the game. They looked absolutely awesome and i loved every fight i had with them, even against the damn Technopriest Ogremaster.
-Anyone remember a shotgun called Dry Rot 32? I actually made one of the most powerful rolls of this gun ever, and it enabled me to go on a 30 kill rampage back when i sucked in PVP. It was one of my longest killstreaks ive ever had.
D2
-Ghaul was a phenomenal enemy, despite what anyone says. He was compelling, intelligent, and above all intimidating. When he shouted "and i have become Legend" my jaw legit dropped. Never had a more tense fight than when i tried taking him on as a Hunter.
-Switching to PC and reading up on the lore made this game so many times better during the campaign. Reading the Sword Logic made the Titan story missions creepy af, and made me really tense in every fight i had with them. The Thrall jumpscares... nopenopenope
-Finding an amazing arcstrider build with max mobility made PVP insanely fun. I could just run in and take on a whole team, and actually get a couple kills. Sure i died alot but damn it was a blast moving like Usain Bolt and crossing the map in 5 seconds.
-Oh man, all the times i got ganbanged by Fallen Pikes while patrolling XD. Those things are insanely aggressive. At least once i got ping-ponged between two of them trying to ram me, didnt stand a chance.

Winning a Trials of the Nine match with 2 of our members DC'd after the first round. We went 4-0 The final round was them jumping off the edge of the map. I bet they were upset with themselves. Good times.

Editado por SickChocThunder: 11/20/2017 5:21:29 PMI remember when there used to be people actually playing this game You could raid and find a 6 man team that did not have to have emblems, a certain gun, a petrol lawnmower, the toe nail of a tibetan monk and a shell casing from the crimean war. Loot caves that were more fun shooting into than the whole of the leviathan raid And fkin around while people cudnt jump in the puzzle in the vog Blaming each other for being seen by a gorgon and soloing lamps whilst the rest of your team were blue orbs Man, Bungie created a masterpiece as destroyed it just as quickly

1 RespuestaLvl 35 Skolas Had the hardest time doing this. Our big win - nose blow away from dead and he ended up killing our last guardian stranding. We groan in defeat - a pulse grenade flashes for its last time & Skolas falls! Achievement flashes on screen as everything goes dark. No rewards - didn’t care it was done.

My favorite D1 moment was getting weasel kicked right before my team killed oryx for the first time

1 RespuestaD1 is easy, that first go of the taken king raid. Took us hours upon hours simply because of the jump puzzles. We all had the week off from college (spring break) we spent all week doing this raid. And the downing of oryx was just amazing. All the exotic farming, all the jump puzzles going in blind was just awesome. D2- when my fireteam finally down calus, us being 270 with our max gear on, and terrible weapons. Going in blind, and finally figuring out the system. It was glorius. The leviathan doesn't get the love it deserves. Its truly alot of fun.
