it's probably just on my end and everyone else doesn't see it, but when i use text chat instead of my battle.net name it just uses my full real name. which is a problem especially for streamers who might not want that out there

It is your end only unless you invite someone to your Fireteam. Otherwise, turn off Real Names in the settings (along with every other name related setting while we're at it).

I'm having the same problem, really freaked me out when it happened to me.

3 RespuestasCan you confirm that other people are seeing the real name?

1 RespuestaCheck your privacy setting under the communication preferences on your Blizzard account and make sure that "Enable Real ID" is not turned on.

This is actually something I found out as well when telling a random fireteam thank you (and while I was streaming). Apparently, someone at Bungie thought it was a smart idea to 1) have this as an option and 2) have it set to default in the Game settings. Yes, you can turn this off, but its in the Game settings and its defaulted to "On".

Editado por Spiderz/Mave: 8/28/2017 7:20:17 PMturning off real id on battle net is not working, so this is an issue. found a fix in another link/topic. Under game play is a option to toggle real names on and off
