Why did you leave Microsoft? Was it complications due to making Destiny or was it financial problems. I mean, Bungie is a great success story; when Microsoft was making the first X box Microsoft put a lot of money and trust into Bungie because they thought Halo would be great. Not many people took Bungie seriously at the time and then Halo was released, then Halo 3 came along and Bungie secured a spot in gaming history, and then they left the company that helped them through that, why?

16 RespuestasThey left because they wanted more freedom to make a game yet still have the financial support to fund their games. Then they signed on with Activision and (I believe) they're worse off now. At the very least, their lead writer and lead music/sound guy got treated like shit so they left. Now, Bungie is a shell of its former self.

Still peeved about not getting that hawk moon.
-
3 RespuestasBecause they got tired of making halo games and wanted to make something else. But Microsoft wanted them to keep making more since halo was "WAS" a big selling point for Xbox consoles

Make Bungie great again.
-
Creative freedom, Bungie wanted to make something new, Microsoft wanted more Halo.
