What I do is imagine the scene and concentrate and recite the story I came up with over and over again eventually when I do fall asleep the story plays out like a little movie when my brain flips the pictures and makes them move.

Woah. What do you mean by recite though? As in, aloud, or in your head?

Yup it works most of the time, but it also causes me to sleep past my alarm so yeah I only do it on weekends. Its awesome though.
