Don't be offensive so much, it's more a defensive support tool

I tried using it more defensively like you just mentioned, and things seemed to go a bit better.
-
Editado por Tricksten17: 5/2/2016 1:29:01 PMIt hasn't been a good offensive tool since the 2.0 update, if you do want to try some offensive tactics with it you can use it to cut people off or come around a corner, but you have to pick your battles
-
Appreciate the advice, I'll try doing that and see how I fair. It lost its invincibility frames if I recall correct?
-
Editado por Tricksten17: 5/2/2016 1:32:21 PMIt never had invincibility frames is just that now your hit box is left behind for a second while your blinking instead of moving with you
-
I thought in Y1 it had invincibility frames. Interesting. I never really used it until recently (I didn't like how it felt for the most part early on in my PvP Career)
-
Yea it's hard to get used to is you're new to it, I couldn't use it for a long time
-
Out of all the sub classes, I'm the weakest with BD, my own stubbornness won't allow me to leave it be. I want to master it and become proficient with all my sub classes, and the more I fail with this one, the more determined I become at getting better at it lol.

Editado por Tricksten17: 5/2/2016 2:09:18 PMSwap to using quick draw over fleet footed and use skip grenades, you'll find those better for single target kills and general utility, also if you're not already use a max agility and recovery build, it's best for the blade, arc bolts are really only good for pve now
-
Always max Agility/recovery. All day every day, gotta love that speed :) Interesting to not use fleet footed. I like side shotgunning, so the extra distance I found to be useful. Quickdraw never really felt like it helped me much for some reason. I'll give it a try and see how I fare though. Wish me luck!
-
Gl and lol you know what's up with that speed, also if you shotgun them it can be viable, I've had better results with quick draw due to faster ready ands aim times with weapons, also, skip grenades are good because they do better damage than arc bolt but at the cost of hitting multiple people
-
Just gave it a try, having a bit of a better time using it in a defensive manner. Managed to juke away from a 1-3 one time, managed to survive another blink shotgunner too, that was pretty satisfying.
-
Nice, good to see its working for you

The actual super I'm still struggling with.. Titans are my biggest nemesis. It's really frustrating since it seems like it's always a Titan that kills me. I can stab him, hear the attack strike and he'll still kill me. There are times I'm sitting there, and wondering if it's even worth using my super if it's going to be countered so darn easily. Even when I flank, I feel terribly weak, as every just out distances me despite me using blink and everything at my disposal to close the gap. I'm lucky to get maybe 1 or 2 kills out of this super, where as using GG or even Shadowshot, I feel is a lot easier and more consistent. I don't know, sometimes it seems to kill in one hit, other times I have to strike them 2 or 3 times before they finally die, and usually it becomes a postmortem at that point.
-
Yea I know the feeling, I used to have these that problem a lot too, just wait till the hit detection buff next week, hopefully it'll be fixed

Editado por Artimise Flare: 5/2/2016 5:19:43 PMI'm trying to complete this quest line I have for it, but I may take a break from it. I feel so terribly handicapped whenever I use that super. With the plethora of Striker Titans running around nowadays, you're pretty much screwed if you try to challenge in Melee nowadays, or so it seems. The neutral game is pretty decent though, blink has saved my ass quite a few times so far, after following your advice. I think I still prefer shade step though. To be fair, I am likely not using the super as effectively as I could. I'm debating on if I should keep razors edge, or if I should try using invisibility instead to help stay off the radar more.
-
Editado por Tricksten17: 5/2/2016 5:46:24 PMRazors edge tends to be the more viable option, what you need to do is evaluate your options, see if your enemies are capable of having their supers, and remember what had been used and how recently, it's all about map awareness Edit: are you on ps4? If so you should friend me, I can try to show you some applicable strategies to make your blade dancer a little stronger when next I'm on.

Yep, same UID here, and thanks, that would be great.

Ok I sent it, I'll try to come on later today

Alright if you ever see me on feel free to send me a party invite, I used blade exclusively in year one and have managed to retain skill with it in year two despite my switch to night stalker
