It drives me crazy how many damn posts there are crying for snipers to descope when they're shot. This is a terrible idea. Know what games force descoping? Halo. Know what hip fire accuracy with a sniper is in halo? Pretty much perfect. Go into a game of crucible and go hip fire only with a sniper. You. Won't. Hit. Shit.
Forced descope on snipers does not fit this game at all, and is a terrible idea imo. Feel free to discuss, but keep the sodium chloride to acceptable levels.

1 RespuestaHalo does/did that and as annoying as it was it made snipers a skill weapon
-
I would say only on headshots but if they have unflinching they don't descope even after the headshot
-
Whatever you do to snipers, the more skilled players will still win. They will still shoot you before you shoot them. Just leave the whole god damn game alone..nerfing and buffing stuff all the time is retarded.
-
Yeah, if we get 100% hip fire accuracy that would be a huge buff imo though...
-
Hunters gotta snipe.
-
Make camera speed twice as fast when scoped. Meaning you have to have a steady shot and you can't just snap to a headshot.
-
5 RespuestasDecrease aim assist by 10 fold. Done.

2 RespuestasPerhaps maybe a forced descope based on a certain damage threshold? Like, your shields go down, boom, descoped.
-
1 RespuestaMore flinch
-
1 RespuestaJust increase flinch so that only the most skilled can pull it off under fire
-
1 RespuestaHell, just make them flinch when I unload 99% of my magazine into them instead of always getting someone with no health left close their eyes and one shot me. That is the part that is completely ridiculous.
-
1 RespuestaDont make them descope but at least make them flinch bad enough to put them off their shot
-
1 RespuestaThis game is super unbalanced right now in the special weapon department. Look at the preponderance of elite players, 90% snipe. . Why even have fusions, sidearm, or really even shotguns
-
3 Respuestasplayers that want balance? YES self centred snipers I NEED MY CRUTCH

3 RespuestasIt's stupid, it'll just force more people to shotgun and use mida, it'll enable even less diversity in the crucible then there already is. The only reason people weren't complaining about this in year 1 was because shotguns were far too powerful, and there was several easy to acquire high impact snipers.
-
2 RespuestasAlthough this is a PVP only discussion, any adjustments would inevitably affect PVE though. De - Scoping when shot is an awful idea.
-
2 RespuestasBad idea. If you have ever used a sniper without unflinching and been shot you know the current flinch is sufficient. If you want to make a real suggestion, suggest removing unflinching as a roll from snipers.
-
1 Respuestayou cant have 2 differnet ways how snipers work, it doesnt make sense to have the sniper descope in pvp and not in pve
-
Needs more movement when u head shot a sniper
-
4 RespuestasWhat about being able to shoot the scope off
-
They should increase sway by 700% and decrease accuracy by 900% problem solved.
-
4 RespuestasNo... You can't have that mechanic. Yes it worked on halo because it was toggled not held down. Also, the way the sight is made makes it so you can't see anything when you are pulling the gun up to ADS. Maybe in destiny 2 that could work if they made it so you could see through your sight before you ADS. As of now? A realistic fix? Have it move left and right as well as up and down when shot. More compensation means more work to get the head shot.

2 RespuestasGUYS STOP JUST IMAGE IN PVE!!! WE CAN'T JUST FUCK EVERYTHING UP
-
3 RespuestasI still think they just need sway. Base the amount on the impact of the weapon. High impact = high sway Low impact = low sway Now, every one will hate this, so let's sweeten the pot a bit, let's add a perk called "Light Weight" to the mix. This drastically reduces the sway of the weapon, if it pops on a low impact rifle, you have almost no sway at all. With destiny a perk system, this seems like a fair trade to me. This will also reduce the effectiveness of CQ for a sniper as well as wick scopes.

20 RespuestasNo seems to bitch about it in halo, and the mechanic works fine. Dont see why people bitch about it in destiny, seems to be you guys just want it easy.
