7 RespuestasI see it as a positive move...let's see what they do with it before we bitch about it.
-
48 RespuestasThey gave you a road map last week. This week it's an update on how they plan to talk to us more. And you idiots wonder why Bungie looks at Reddit for feedback rather than here
-
PvP is Destiny's cancer.

17 RespuestasThe forums are clamoring from people wanting more information about the game. You know, like maybe use the weekly update to give us updates and more info.... Bungie instead decides to build a new studio to stream updates with. I guess we're too stupid to read, or more likely, they are to lazy to type out a decent update. I guess once a week Deej is going to read his update live? Great, so there are 45 seconds of use a week. I'm already impressed with this "wise" choice of where to spend the money they made off of silver, lol. Once thing that will be entertaining though, is hundreds of people tearing Deej and his little gang apart on live on the chat stream..

2 RespuestasThey're incredibly great @ stretching out a mediocre subject

13 RespuestasMay not be as bad as you think. It's not even out yet so we don't know what it will be like. People bitch that destiny doesn't listen. So Bungie decides to do a weekly twitch stream to communicate with us as the community and you are still upset over this?
-
3 RespuestasAgreed. But to me if they avoid the obvious questions for more than a few minutes (year 1 raids and gear being brought forward, OMM, light level stuff, lag referee, etc.) then I believe the twitches will fail. If it's anything like past streams, it will avoid the real issues and pressing issues that the actual players would like to discuss. I hope I'm wrong and this actually opens up a new line of communication It's going to be smoke and mirrors in my opinion, distractions and fluff just like the "updates". It's going to be like the end of Gladiator where were all shocked the emperor himself is going into the trenches to be with us when really... we've already been stabbed in the side. The stream will be fixed questions and fixed answers with no real relevance to current issues. I believe the whole concept is to stroke their massive egos. Whew, that felt so negative to write, but it's my honest opinion.

1 RespuestaI agree with the few posters below who are trying to look at this as a net positive. If it opens up a new avenue for more constant, clear communication and leads to more gamer-developer interaction, then this could be a positive thing overall. Granted, Bungie COULD be doing this for all the wrong reasons too, and it remains to be seen how it actually plays out. It could go either way. But I'm hoping that the new CEO has everyone's butts in gear and that this is a sign that they want to increase the flow of information to us.

2 RespuestasEditado por gallp13: 2/20/2016 11:57:03 AMWhy stay ? Why play ? Don't be sad Just walk away ..... Millions have left - why continue to bang your head against the Destiny wall if you hate Bungie hate their attempts to communicate and hate the game. I mean its cool to chat in this place if you want every one is welcome, but you sound pretty bitter. Don't linger if the love has died just move on. There's heaps of other awesome games - the Division, FO4, Starwars, Witcher the list goes on. No one wants you to go but you just sound so angry betrayed and bitter so what's the point of keeping up with Destiny when clearly you think Bungie and their game are total and utter crap. PS : no need to answer Im not really asking just observing and feeling sad for a fellow Guardian who once enjoyed Destiny but now is unhappy salty and full of hate for the game. PPS : There's stacks I don't like about Destiny but on balance I enjoy the game mostly because my family and friends play and it's a blast plus we play other games so Destiny has never become stale or boring.

1 RespuestaThey'll prolly get moar monies from the Twitch stream in tips and donations than they ever will from Eververse. Lololololol!!! (sad really....)

2 RespuestasEditado por gallp13: 2/20/2016 6:49:14 AMThis is a positive move here's why 1. Weekly twitch content - good opportunity 2. Difficult and very risky to fill with fluff 3. Pressure is on to have meaningful content 4. Senior Leadership on the couch more info 5. Access to the Devs more often 6. Switch up in communication in now possible Put simply this is what the Community has been crying out for across almost 2 years. At last it is happening and it's a positive step in the right direction. I get the naysayers - they are really saying - "improved communication Bungie ..... PROVE IT" So Bungie the pressure is on are the sceptics right ? Will this be just more meaningless fluff or will you provide compelling content and insights into the year ahead ...... Time will tell.

3 RespuestasI'm glad they have a new platform to talk about PVP. Because I was really worried they'd given up on PVP.
-
Whaaa!!!! they did not say what I wanted and expected in the update notes.. QQ... mommmmy!!!!111!!oneoneone that is all this post says.
-
Good now we can tell them how we feel in real time during the streams.
-
we should bet on what issues they will talk on the first twitch

9 RespuestasAre you really going to answer questions Bungie? Really?
-
5 Respuestas"Thanks for buying all that Silver ... suckers!" - Love Bungie
-
15 RespuestasThats all the silver that people paid for things thinking it would pay for a DLC. How does it feel to be duped by bungie again?
-
But hey, you can always bugged them in the chat
-
1 RespuestaThis way, they don't have to even use that comfy app that they made for... communicating with us. I just got a new phone. The Google play store prompted me to download the app again. I didn't because, why bother? They almost never communicate with their players on their own Forums; and when they do, it's alwys some cyptic message cloaked in obfuscations and misrepresenting the very OP's that they're responding to (looking right at you, Cozmo). Now, rather than read the boring Weekly Update that says nothing more than "updates about updates coming soon", they're going to read those updates about updates... So why would I ever watch even a single -blam!-ing stream from the Bungie Fail Squad?
-
It started yesterday, filthy PlayStation casual. Jks
-
Wait until the Ball Pit is complete. People will really be loosing their shite then.
-
1 RespuestaEditado por dankstah: 2/19/2016 12:26:58 AMYea they prob had nothing the say this week so they just talked about twitch the last thing I'd ever want to hear about waste of my time reading that stupid "update"
-
3 RespuestasMeanwhile the sniping is still out of control.
-
12 RespuestasAnd a obligatory mention of pvp and nothing about pve. Sounds about right.
