Chill set to None
It would seem that a few of this community's finest have rustled jimmies over my post. I am sorry if I have offended you in some manner, twas not my intention. I am simply here to entertain. Stop taking yourself and this game seriously for a moment and you might witness a smirk come cross your face.

OMG so good lol I really hope they're able to understand that though. Seriously if a company needs to put out a survey about why people aren't playing, you've definitely done a lot wrong.
-
huh, thats good. was that your post or someone elses?
-
Lol that was epic. But in my mind. That person is probably mad of the game and spent money, i think it's still bungie who has the last laugh with his money in their bank accounts.

HANDS DOWN TO THE BEST BURN EVER

The way I see it is that Bungie tried to create a love child between CoD and an mmo, and it came out looking like a freak that nobody can describe. Bungie was wanting a big strong mmo that kept people around and kept them continually interested in playin until destiny 2 comes along. However Bungie keeps feeding it like it's a CoD. Small amounts of dlc to keep people interested for a short time, because soon you have another CoD for people to jump on leaving the current one to die a lonely death. CoD has, especially for PvE, a relatively short shelf life. You play the story in a weekend and you're done until next year. After that PvP may keep it on life support. A few DLC's might bring a few people back during another cold, rainy weekend, but this is the basic business model for that game. However, Bungie wants a WoW or ESO, and cannot understand why their player base is dropping. They want an mmo, but don't want to do an mmo. Personally I feel if destiny is going to succeed it needs to go fully one way or another. It needs to either evolve into a full mmo with the content to support it, or go into a single story based game. Just play the story solo or with friends and sell it back to game stop the following week. The mash up of elements that they have now just doesn't work well together. TL:DR: Bungie wanted ESO or WoW on a CoD budget.

24 RespuestasEditado por bojangin: 2/10/2016 7:03:06 PMYou obviously have never played an mmo styled game. Things are obsoleted almost as soon as you get them. It's how the cycle works. You play for better gear and never stop getting better stuff. Jesus Edit: meant to put mmo rpg type game, not just mmo

People of destiny, don't worry the division will fill your boredom until destiny 2, at the least..

99 RespuestasEditado por CasualSpooner: 2/10/2016 6:46:42 AMso....i admit that destiny is not quite what it could have been. But I feel like people who complain about the whole DLC thing, and old stuff going "obsolete" probably came from like CoD or something and probably arent familiar with MMO-type games where thats just the way it goes. You move on and keep playing the new stuff. thats the way all MMO style games work. and I hate that theres been no new content. I also hate how bungie is handling this content drought. I'm hoping for a different model going forward. But if it doesn't change, I'm just saying, don't be surprised if your Y2 weapons get left behind too.

2 RespuestasEditado por bobswerski: 2/10/2016 4:11:58 PMYou have a very loose definition of "epic." Some butthurt troll gives snarky response demanding money when Bungie asks for feedback regarding the game. Said troll likely played the game for several hundred hours. Who cares.

Buuurn... well... they made a ton of money, and lost a ton of friends. Gotta wonder if dragging your companies name through the dirt for a cash grab is really worth it? I guess so.
