Its called peer pressure my friend or the need to be like a hipster and hate upon anything that is mainstream or liked by the masses (hence the 'only year one's will remember threads). If you read most comments like 'The loot drops are crap' which is a fine point but then they state they are going to play a game like Battlefront or BO3 both of which have no loot drops. You the get the 'it's a grind, same old shit over again and there's nothing new to do' again they will then state a game which is either purely PVP or becomes nothing but PVP once you complete the main game playing the same maps again and again in a pure state of repetitiveness. Finally you get the 'This Game will kill Destiny' well no game has done yet, however you can play more than one game at once and there is no law against that, in every game there are quiet spots between new content. Yes some of these new games will cause people to stop playing Destiny however people are basing this on Trailers of yet un-released games (did no one see the Destiny Trailers!). Some will come back when new content drops, some won't. Some will carry on playing and enjoying and some will continue to slag the game off right till the end. In every game release the player base will gradually drop off it happens with every game. Oh and in response to 'Bungie lied to us again and again' as people seemed to be obsessed with this someone even dragged out the old trailer for Destiny recently. Games change before release much like films do, things don't always go to plan it's life. You adapt and you move on. I couldn't care who makes a game or how much money they make from it, it's something to pass the time and when I stop enjoying it will go and play something else. If you went to a restaurant and didn't enjoy the meal why the hell would you keep going back every day. You would maybe go on tripadviser and make a complaint but then move on and go somewhere else to eat, you wouldn't keep making comments even though you never eat there again.
