While I do not agree with the statement I find alot of the responses quite comical. All the stuck up elites who in recruitment forums state rediculous criteria to join a raid team, thus alienating 90% of the player base. YOU are the problem. Presently PVP in particular Trials is the place to be. You need better gear to compete. If people can't raid they can't compete. So of course they will pay to win when left with no alternative.

Well if you can't even find time to play then why is it so important to "compete" and cry about how you don't have good gear??
-
I think you did not read and or miss undestood the statement?

I did. I just don't understand why people feel it's elitism when people who play a lot and have good gear want to play with similar people for a higher chance of success. Seems like common sense to me. If you don't raid and can't find time to play for better gear why should you have the same treatment for end game challenges as those that are more dedicated?

The point I was making was not everyone has 6 people to raid with (I do so I am quite lucky). But when someone tries to join a raid group the criteria stated such as must be 315+ for instance is rediculous. People want to raid but they can't get a look in.

That's ridiculous you can make your own post and have zero criteria it's easy. I did it te other day for my son who was only 286 light. I found a group for normal kings fall in about 8 minutes
