Same could be said for just merely purchasing DLC's and the TTK. If you purchased the TTK (this includes me), you are granted access to further character progression, higher light/levels, new sub-classes, raid/raid gear, endgame gear, more exotics and a distinct in-game advantage over those that choose not to buy the TTK. So for us that have purchased TTK, we have taken part and have also encouraged pay to win, in a sense. Sure, the micro transactions are completely different, are of greater concern in the long run and get you very little for a lot of money spent. But technically anyone who purchased TTK has [b]taken[/b] part in pay to win. In all honesty, anyone who has purchased TTK (or any DLC) should not be complaining or ranting about anything pay to win...since technically we are all guilty of it. But I certainly see the point in complaining about the addition of micro-transactions that cost ridiculous amounts of money yet don't really yield 'major' rewards, advantages or content. As others have stated, "it's a slippery slope."
