H4 was completely underwhelming. From 1 to 2 to 3 the story continued to escalate. The direction that 343 took was lackluster at best. Sure they had some big shoes to fill, but considering their origin, that shouldn't have been as big a task as it apparently turned out to be.

Halo 4 at least had a good story. Though Halo 3 had amazing gameplay it's story lacked big time and should have been finished in Halo 2. Bungie did not make a good story for Halo. Halo 4 did much better than all of Bungie's stories. Halo 5's story was on the same tier as 3. Maybe instead of entirely judging a company on it's first ever release title for one aspect you should actually try playing a game and seeing how you feel after. Or just be blinded by nostalgia and blindly follow your Bungo overlords.

And you need a lesson in reading comprehension. If you look, you can see where I wrote that H4 was underwhelming. That means I played it and didn't like it (apparently I had to break that down "Barney style" for you). To say that the H4 story did better than anything that Bungie ever did truly shows me the caliber of person that I'm dealing with. Bungie's Halo franchise spawned an entire series of novels, short films, and fan fiction. But please continue to lecture me about blindly following a dev (what you're clearly doing ATM with 343) and then randomly insult me for voicing an opinion that differs from yours. It's making your point (or lack thereof) so much stronger.
