Day one players have literally been asking do sparrow racing for over a year, and the live team made it happen. See you on the track, Guardians.

Only took a year+ for two maps for a few weeks...and of course why add anything new without a bunch of microtransactions to go with it, nevermind the things that need fixing, or adding anything actually substantial to replace the 75% of end game content that they made pointless with ttk.

While it's nice to get content that isn't just retreads from year one -looking at you exotics coming back that should never have left- it isn't necessarily something all that appealing. People have asked for this and plenty of other ideas for over a year and it's just frustrating it takes this long for something to actually come to fruition that really doesn't seem that difficult to implement. People would be seriously excited for Custom Games, Forge Mode, new exotics that are actually obtainable and not already in the armory, redone patrols with hard modes and modifiers, faction wars, a new planet/moon to explore that is at least comparable to the Cosmodrome, et cet. I imagine the micro transactions earnings they've made could more than cover the cost of development for most of those ideas. I understand they're probably working on Destiny 2 or the next DLC to various extents, but players get frustrated when no news is revealed about that future content. I like Destiny a lot. I like playing with my clan. However, there is not much to do and players have been steering clear of the game lately. I am fine with doing other things, but it would be nice to have an idea of what to look forward to instead of somewhat shallow offerings. I would certainly take a TDB scope DLC soon to spice the game up, but Sparrow Racing is not going to do much for me and many others I'm sure. I'm sure it will be very warmly received by plenty of players though.
