So we're now well into TTK. At this point there's been time to really dig deep into the new content and changes to old and both raid modes are out.
So as we head into November, what is your top thought on what Destiny is doing right or needs improving on?
Thank you :)

The nerfing really did me in. I feel like they give us these great things and then hold them in front our faces and break them. Seriously, what the hell?
-
Destiny is in desperate need of a competitive rank system for PVP
-
-blam!- Destiny for a while. On to fallout 4. Yea right I will be back tomorrow as I get bored of games so fast lol

The ridiculous grind fest and constant nerfs to everything including the economy made me quit. No more destiny for 3 weeks! Feels like getting off drugs LOL
-
I quit and didn't even buy TTK, fool me once ... I only post here for two reasons: 1) forum drama is entertaining at lunch 2) morbid curiosity to see if they mend their ways

It needs the content that they developed for year one. It needs in game LFG to connect players. 3rd party sites just plain blow. Some creative maps that are not shot gun centric, maybe a game mode that's a little longer time to kill and more strategic.

2 RespuestasEditado por Ogma: Destroyer of Worlds: 11/1/2015 8:35:48 PMThis game's developer continues to be its worst enemy. Like 95% of the game can be played solo or with matchmaking and then that last little bit is the complete opposite of that. Raid participation numbers are low. Completion numbers are even lower. It's terribly inconsistent and there is only this one formulaic process of fully leveling. I've never seen a developer so seemingly intent on keeping players from accessing content or fully experiencing their game. I get why raids have no matchmaking, but that's not the only solution to this issue that has existed since launch. I challenge Bungie to provide reasoning as to why players can't acquire top level Vanguard/faction gear through a comparably difficult but less complex activity that has matchmaking. Raiders will still have that unique gear as their status symbol. It's win/win. Bungie themselves hold this game back so much.

It's sad that for a 34Gb game there's very little to show for it. Borderlands 2 is 21Gb and is massive and has a plethora of things to do and get. Bungie needs to step it up and provide more content and revitalize the content from Yr1 to make it current and challenging. Sadly Destiny will become a game that is only played on weekends while I play Fallout 4 during the week since there's nothing worth grinding for, especially mediocre gear and weapons. Good job Bungie, $500M down the drain because you want to force a play style on your intended audience when it should be you catering to our needs.

Good to see you back, Sols! Be careful of those loser trolls who want you banned. Honestly, I think a lot of people are just about done. I am, at least. I've read so many amazing ideas from you and people like you, only to hear asshats like Luke Smith tell us they are taking stuff out of the game because it's not how THEY want us to play. If they actually played their own game like they say they do, they will understand that the dumbass decisions they give us for removing stuff would seem just as dumb to them. Must be a hard job to just dictate and tell the thousands of people that still play this game that no matter what we want, it's all about what they decide is best for us. Piss on Luke Smith. Piss on DeeJ. Piss on their sorry excuse for communication. Piss on their sorry excuses as to why we can't have matchmaking. Piss on all the 5000 currencies we have to keep up with because they don't have any damn clue where the direction of this game is going. Piss on them for taking advantage of us. But I guess shame on all of us for believing their lies. I guess to sum it up, piss on Bungivision for not having the guts to tell us the truth. But what do they care? They will keep giving false hope that "they learned" from their mistakes and turn right around in a follow up dlc and repeat the same damn mistakes! I look forward to Fallout 4. As I'm sure a lot of people are. Final thought to Bungie. Get your heads out of Activision's asses and stand up and treat your community like you aren't in it just for the money!

Depressing. This game is all about bungie controlling every little thing and doing what they want. Just a sad November i guess

What does Destiny really need?
A sign on the home screen that tells people to play Fallout 4 instead XD
3 RespuestasI'll just narrow it down to this...we are all tired of the grind. It may not be because you hate the game and/or Bungie...it's just taking a toll on us. Especially the way drops have been going in all aspects of the game. I feel like it's been a huge lie aswell when it comes to the game seeing what you have already and adjusting so you don't get duplicates. Beating bosses on hard mode..and getting nothing. I mean nothing...no strange coins..no wormspore..nothing. That is the biggest slap in the face. I got 6 Jackolytes the last time I played the totems and Warpriest.

2 RespuestasGoing to fight the Empire. Can't be bothered to play destiny anymore. Too Busy blowing up the Death Star.

1 RespuestaEditado por JediW00kie: 11/1/2015 1:53:53 PMI'm putting this game down and moving on to something else, Elite: Dangerous looks good, plus No Mans Sky is coming out June 16 so there's that to wait for. Yesterday however, I decided to give it another try, jump on LFG and do the raid on Hard Mode. After about 5 minutes I get an invite and jump on the raid with my 308 Hunter. Everyone knows the first chest is only moldering shards so I won't touch that one. Once past the tomb ships that we finish the Totems, the chest gave me only moldering shards, figured what the heck war priest will probably give me something good. I pop my Three of coins and head into WarPriest with my fireteam, and we beat him in about three tries, this time he drops a Harrowed shotgun at lower light than previous ones (303 light).... But I kept on trucking. Popped another three of coins and finally got to Golgoroth, him we took down very fast, but once again, got Harrowed boots for the Hunter at lower light than my normal mode raid boots. Kinda starting to feel disappointed, but kept on moving forward. We pass the exotic chest (moldering shards again) and finally get to the sisters. They were a bit difficult but after about 5-6 tries we defeated them, and I got only moldering shards from their chest. Moving on to Oryx, we had one person that couldn't do it right and he rage quit, someone else followed right behind him, and the fireteam got dismantled l. At this point I put the controller down. I went through pretty much the entire hard mode raid and got nothing to show for it except my ever growing collection of moldering shards. I know some might experience this and some others might have exceptional drops on every boss, but it's becoming more of a disappointment than an enjoyment to play this game. And as I'm typing this, Elite: Dangerous has finished downloading and I'm going to give that a try, I need to get that feeling back of a game being fun, engaging, and entertaining, instead of feeling frustrated, unrewarded, and bored.
-
It was an overhyped disappointment. Just like vanilla destiny.
-
It's just getting worse and worse. Only game I've actually seen create less content with successive DLCs
-
1 RespuestaBungie needs to sell the franchise.
-
I have to add, the most infuriating part about all of this, is bungies continuous cold shoulder to the wall of posts complaining about the same thing. 3 weeks of worthless weekly updates, and not one -blam!-ing thing has been addressed...
-
3 RespuestasDo you really have to ask!? I would say...a state of decay from which there is no recovery. Bungievision has done the impossible!..........They've made EA look like saints!
-
Destiny is a lost cause, Bungie is vigorously destroying their own IP. It's sad to watch. The game had so much potential, it really did. It's simply too late to recover now.
