To everybody saying all the content from Vanilla Destiny, TDB and HoW is still here, so nobody should whine: Just stop.
There are no more Eris bounties and quests even though that was part of the Dark Below. There are no more Queen’s Wrath bounties even though that was part of HoW. I cannot buy The Swarm, Shadow Price or a Dustwalker helmet anymore even though that was part of Vanilla Destiny. I can go on.
Destiny DLC’s are not additions to the game: they are replacements of the game.
I’m wondering what kind of exotics Xur will sell this friday. I’m pretty sure it will only be level 40 exotics (So you cannot get in without TTK).
Since 2.0 all the discipline, intellect and strength levels of my legendary armor is reduced to less than half of what it was before 2.0. So even in the crucible I would be severely limited if I didn’t have TTK. It’s probably legal. Just a very, very shitty action.
So if I was a new Destiny player and today I would buy Destiny and it’s two expansions, I wouldn’t get the same content as people who bought it last year.
If it’s legal, it’s legal. I don’t know enough about that part. It probably IS legal. I just feel a company should not just do things because they are legal. I hope they also do things they feel good about: Morally and ethically. There is more to life than just making a lot of money.
That’s it.

20 RespuestasThe game is meant to move. There are things like the Eris bounties and the prowling Wolves that were one time things. It's meant to be a living world. Why the hell would Eris STILL be fighting Crota after we decimated him? New players didn't get less content, they arrived later in the timeline of a moving story. All the quests, story, and equipment is there. You just want to jump on this bandwagon so you can feel like you're "fighting the man" or whatever. I've never seen so much toxic stupidity in a community besides LoL.
