Some of us have never and will never agree with homosexuality being OK. As a kid I even used the term gay to mean stupid or bad. I try not to do that now, but sometimes it still happens. However I will never understand why it's becoming such a widely approved thing. It's an act that is contrary to nature. If it was a genetic thing it would have burned itself out of the gene pool because they don't procreate. Instead it's everywhere and invades EVERY TV show at some point. So those of us that don't like it or agree are being bombarded with it and told to conform. Sometimes we get fed up.. and these forums are so toxic already, I guess many feel it's a good place to dump more toxic feelings Edit:the butthurt runs deep with my responses. I'll never approve of same sex sex. to the guy who compared it to racial rights.... wow. In one case whites treated non whites as sub human. While there was a time in the south that homosexuals were abused, they've mostly been treated with decency. Now however it's hit the polar opposite and if you don't wholeheartedly accept it as normal and proper you're a bigot. People are free to do what they want. As much as a man is free to have sex with another man, I'm free to think that's gross and not wanna see it in every TV program I watch. However because of the vast swing in our society's psyche, I'm not allowed to watch TV anymore unless I wanna be bombarded with it. The LGBT movement is far more in your face than any Christian or church group with forcing things down your throat.. As for being oppressed... omg you mean people had to keep what they did in the privacy of their bedroom.... private? OMG it's almost like slavery! Edit 2: wow 97 replies... yikes. Anyways I wanted to throw this out there for anyone who wants to use the bible or religion in regards to this subject. Yes the bible quite clearly condemns homosexuality. However it also condemns any sexual relations outside of marriage, as well as divorce for any reason except adultery. It condemns lying and stealing as well (How honest were you on your taxes). So before you go throwing stones or judging, count how many stones you are owed. Bible says God will judge each of us based on how we judge others. I don't mean to sound like I judge homosexuals, it's their choice and free will. I don't solo them out for any reason except that it's all over TV and movies to the extent that it's difficult to find programs without it. Just imagine if every movie or TV program u watched included Christians quoting scriptures and telling you if you don't accept their point of view, you're a bigot. Guess what, bigot is just as hurtful as fag or any other derogatory word. Just because someone doesn't approve, doesn't make them a bigot.
