Who is Crota's mom?
Like seriously, who is Crota's mom? Does anybody know cuz that is really interesting.

Aurux (forgive spelling) was a female before making a wish to the hive God to turn her male to be king, he then had relations with a Hive Brood Mother to create Crota. So Crota's mom isn't going to get revenge on anyone because she's naught but a powerless concubine.

2 RespuestasOkay, so I just read the Book of Sorrows. Basically it doesn't say if Oryx did or did not have a mate, but it is heavily implied he did not have a mate. It says, and I qoute, "Eventually, he had a son, Crota, and two daughters, Ir Anûk and Ir Halak..." This is all that is referenced to the origin of Crota. Also they elaborate on why Oryx laughs when you kill him in "Regicide," which always bugged me so much. Basically when we killed him in Regicide it sent him back to his throne realm, only accessible through the court of Oryx. So once we do the raid we kill him forreal. So no, he will not be back in Destiny 2 or Rise of Iron because he is hella dead.

1 RespuestaIn the mission 'Regicide', near the end, there are three statues you can scan. One statue represents Crota, another Oryx, but the third statue represents someone we have heard before, perhaps Crota's mother? Ghost does tell us it's name, but I can't remember what it is and after all it's a Hive name. It could be male, female or both for all we know.
