So It was my Girlfriend's birthday. (Did I do the right thing?)

So I've been with this chick for a few months now or maybe a year I forget. But anyway this was the first time I was with her during her birthday. So, I'm thinking to myself, "yeah, this'll be grand, literally impossible to fuk up, just buy her a flower or some shit and that's that for another year."
So I buy her some sort of flower thing for a tenner and she's happy enough with that. The evening is going fine. Then at around 4 o'clock in the morning I decide to start drinking, nothing new here she loves the drink too, so it's a win win.
Now here's where I get pissed off. I take out a cigar and light it up. I usually have a cigar on special occassions because they're awesome as fuk, just too expensive to smoke several a day unfortunately. Anyway, she starts going apeshit because I'm smoking, telling me it's bad for my health, all that usual jazz. Like, I know it's bad for my health, no shit it's bad for my health. But who the -blam!- wants to live past their thirties anyway?
So I broke up with her there and then. Haven't spoken to her in a week.

Ya no, nope defiantly not the right thing. You smoke a cigar when your celebrating your self, but for her to care for your health and you breaking up with her for that, she probably deserves better. What I want to know is how you got a cigar seeing how anyone who did what you did is immature as fuk. And anyone over 20 wouldn't of done that

Bad move. His is coming from a girl. She was worried for you. And if you would break up with her for that, well, u hope it was because to where drinking cause that's a bad reason. Oh and the fact that the only reason you got her flowers was to get another year, that's f*cked up. If you really cared about her you could at least get a picture of the two of you and frame it. Damn. That may have been a bit overboard. I support what you're saying. Nobody is master to anyone but to break up with her just for that? You could've at least talked about it. Just my opinion though.
