I actually have a story here. Xur has sold icebreaker countless times right? Like it's retarded how much he's sold it. Well back in those days, I was a naive little titan who didn't really know anything about destiny. I always bought the Titan armor because let's face it, I had no idea what I was doing due to me taking a five month break from destiny. My friends constantly made fun of me for not having one. Then my friend Scotty and I came across this level 4 in the tower a few days ago. The level 4 waved at me and I started dancing with him. Feeling generous I invited him to a party and he was actually a really nice guy. We offered to carry him through the hard mode story since we knew how hard it was alone (he didn't have friends who played) and he happily accepted. We carried this level 4 through the earth and moon, played crucible with him, and had a wonderful time overall. This was on Sunday. The reset yesterday was by far the luckiest destiny day I have ever had. I received the Titan boots from a nightfall, etheric light that I used on my iron banner titan helmet, my first new monarchy shader (Nefertitti), and a huge stack of coins. So here comes the vault of glass. Before this I had never gotten an exotic from the gorgon chest. I have gotten a red death from atheon, the mythoclast, been given red death once more from Ir Yut, and a last word from crota. My exotic luck in raids is very minimal. We get to the chest and I ask if I could grab the checkpoint on my lock and then we could go finish atheon. Shards and energy. We get to atheon and what do you know. Two Gjallarhorns drop. One for the 24 we were carrying and one for my friend who already had one. I swap characters all around and grab the chest on my titan. My 45th light of the great prism and shards. Final chance was my hunter. I prayed to RNGesus for an icebreaker. Needless to say he delivered. TL;DR: RNGesus appreciates kindness to lower levels! Karma is real in this game.
