I've not really had any big issues with them. Yeah, they're powerful, but a sniper rifle counters them so easily. Just keep your distance. If you can snipe, use a good fusion rifle. The last word only bothers me in close/medium range at the most. Thorn is a little worse, but if you can get two headshots without me making one with a sniper, that's just well played. Maybe I don't have a problem facing thorn because I have one. (It is not my go-to, however. That would probably be gheleons, which is also a good counter for those two hand cannons.)
