Trials of Osiris should be locked out for Wifi users
There is one pattern with all the lagging and that seems to be wifi. Bungie should just force people to use ethernet for trials and remove all this wifi crap that is soooo easy to lag switch with due to phones and what not. This is probably why the lag spikes happen is because some teenager in a room with a cell phone gets a text message or something.

3 RespuestasPVP in general should just auto-drop anyone that goes red bar and grant them a loss, significant repeats = ban by IP address I pay for top tier internet, wired my house for lan with current routers/switches, and get penalized for being the solid green bar while the equivalent of cup-and-string gets advantages TOO won't be any better -likely worse than normal Destiny PVP, it will just encourage those with lag switches to show up green while game is setting up and go red as soon as things are not going their way...

Couple things: Lag switches still work on hard wired Internet. There are many different methods Most cell phones still send and receive texts through data and not the wifi they're connected to Not everyone is capable of running a wire through their house depending on their living situation There are plenty of instances where wifi can be better than wired, such as having a bad cable or bad router ports See how not knowing what you're talking about makes your suggestion entirely useless?

WiFi is a hell of a lot better now than it used to be and makes no difference whosoever. What DOES affect it is your download, upload and ping/packet loss.

At this day and age with how fast Wifi actually is, wifi isn't the issue. The issue is P2P connections for PvP which is archaic and none competitive.

1 RespuestaIt's called a lag switch because people literally used a switch. They would take certain wires from the lan cable and run it through the switch, allowing them to use it at will. Search on YouTube how to make a lag switch
