Now, [b][u]I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT STATE SPONSORED EUGENICS[/u][/b] OK, with that out of the way, is having children a right? Should all potential parents be forced to prove that they are responsible enough to be allowed to have children? How would it be enforced? I am sure with medical science progressing as it is, an implant or other such method could be used in both men and women to eliminate unplanned pregnancies. Now, we're just talking about this. The slippery slope of giving the government this power, and the dangers of eugenics are another issue entirely. For this debate assume we have a good government that will not abuse this power (it's called the suspension of disbelief, you can watch a movie about a guy who turns into a giant green rage monster who fights an alien invasion, you can assume we have a good government for this)
