Haven't played it in a while so o thought I'd jump in for a game of rumble. Every single player was using the last word! Talk about variety! This is soooo broken and unbalanced!
Edit again again again - it's nice to see there are some people out there who understand that I'm not complaining or crying about dying to much. It would just be nice if bungie would really put some effort into balancing the weapons. Clearly hand cannons are way to powerful! They are the most powerful hand guns in any game bar none! It's also that with the aim assist being so strong in this game, it makes them highly highly accurate! In every other game they are a secondary weapon that are a last resort. Not so in destiny!
Edit again again - I can't believe how many people think that a game is good if 95% of its weapons aren't a viable option to use multiplayer. Having a few totally op weapons that 95% of people use is pathetic. But hey if you guys like that, who am to say anything huh?
I can't believe people complain about limited content in titanfall and yet in this only a couple of weapons are worth using and it's ok! I love this community! It's so entertaining!
Edit again - here's the thing guys. I don't care about winning. This isn't a cry (as you guys call it) about dying to much. I don't care about my k/d. I don't even know where to find it. It's about the fact that crucible is unbalanced. Everyone using the same weapons means it is unbalanced. If you guys want be all immature and call me a scrub that's fine.
Edit - well its clear from the comments that I am completely wrong and apparently I just simply suck! I guess I'm just setting up my load out incorrectly and if I just become a sheep, don't use weapons that I like and conform to using one weapon, maybe I can be as op as everyone else! Thanks guys!

Editado por Arclight123: 4/25/2015 7:13:48 AMRed death Hawkmoon Thorn Tlw Vex Suros Three little words Big chief ( hand cannon) Bad juju For the people Over sole edict Abyss defiant Mida Voc These are just some of the primaries I encountered during an evening of control games seems like there is variety after all and this doesn't include the multiple secondaries and heavies
-
Just play control and think before you move .... I've been killed by most guns but I've also killed with most .... If you go up against tlw at close range with say red death you won't win but stay back think adapt and plan you will kill tlw Learn the game and maps then no weapon is really op it's how you move and think that wins
-
It does suck when only a few weapons, out all the available weapons, are the most used. I love diversity in a game but the way destiny is set up, sometimes it's best to simply follow the crowd. I still try to diversify my play though, instead of just running thorn, hawkmoon, TWL, and red death. Sometimes i use suros or monte
-
It's a powerful gun, but I've seen a lot of trash players try and use it and fail. Smart play will always beat a powerful gun. I don't have it, but I don't blame others for abusing its power. It's not broken though
-
Crucible has always been unbalanced - not because of weapons though, because it's mixed ability. There should have been a progression system where you go up against people of a similar k/d. This would have been a more fun experience for most and based on skill not load out. As you improve you find yourself playing against other people of a similar level making it more of a shared challenge.
-
I love destiny but he is right. I will NEVER use the garbage Last word. I will continue to show no mercy in the crucible. I use non op weapons and I still shit on kids. And anyone here talking shit about how my KD sucks. GTFO ppl can go in a match with a buddy kill each other , thus raise KD. I play mostly on my titan
-
I agree, would be nice of diffrent play style and weapons got to shine ever.

8 RespuestasListen man, if anyone says crucible improved since the last update they haven't been playing. The game slowly had its ups and downs but it finally seemed to even out minus the obvious blink shotgun, thorn and tlw. But now it's literally just thorn, tlw, hawkmoons and other op blue handguns. No one uses primaries now they use hand cannons

I don't think PVP is bad at all, I kinda love it but YES I agree with you, everyone is using the TLW. It's annoying sometimes.. You just got to play with defense, shoot from a distance..
-
Editado por Monsterzero_1965: 4/25/2015 6:25:32 AMI own 2 TLWs,have dismantled 3 others..... The gun is way OP in PvP,but if they should nerf it(they should) it should be in its range....on paper it looks like it has a very short range, but I get sniped with that gun constantly
-
Nope your a scrub because you want diversity and fun. It's only about using the most op weapons like last word. If you don't use it then you shouldn't play destiny.
-
3 RespuestasI played a few games today. Only ran into 1 thorn user. No TLW users today. Not sure what you're complaining about.
-
Over the past week or so I have noticed the lag being a lot worse . Don't care who uses what weapons , we all a have access to them , but lag pisses me off
-
You have 25000 medal score... You obviously don't have enough experience to learn to counter every weapon
-
I can handle taking on TLW, but for the love of god I want those fell winters out of my face... More specifically, more than ten feet away from my face.

2 RespuestasEditado por OddByChoice: 4/25/2015 6:07:51 AMTLW is definitely worth fixing. It over performs as it is now in PvP. Making people want to use it more often. It was the same issue with the Mythoclast. Now I don't go complaining about unnecessary nerfs. But I'd see no problem with it being nerfed like the Mythoclast was. If a weapon is over-performing giving players little desire to experiment with other weapons, obviously it's a problem. And buffing all other weapons is not always a logical choice. Because if all other weapons were buffed to perform as TLW does or Mythoclast did, it would give little to no reaction time before dying. So it'd be a pretty much insta-kill fest, with matches finishing in record times. Not to mention if all weapons performed at that level there would be no need for heavy weapons. So weapons like Thorn, Hawkmoon, and etc, may be annoying to get killed by, but their power doesn't warrant a nerf like TLW needs and Mythoclast got, because there are not over-performing. But I think this will always be a problem if the weapon is mid-high fire/mid-high impact as well as being auto-fire. So taking away the fan-fire would also fix the problem. But then no one would want to use it, as it would lose major standing with the other exotic handcannons. And that would also be bad. I think it a very hard decision to make, and evenmoreso, when you think about how many people are never satisfied with someone else's decision when that decision affects how THEY want to play.

I'm with you there man. However, I'm ungodly competitive and hate losing.....so I use the last word because it has the fastest time to death. Not a great quality of character. Nonetheless, i do see dying by the same weapon as redundant and flavorless, especially when there are so many other "options", and I do feel the massive differences in power between certain weapons puts a selective pressure on acquiring these certain weapons instead of exploring tactics, which is how I define true skill. (Sorry for that awful sentence). Unfortunately, I have no clue how bungie can resolve this, because the problem with FPS shooters today is that they want to add variety to the game but do not have enough options to reach suitable degrees of freedom. I think the only way to have an enjoyable competitive FPS is to limit the options possible to be below the threshold of creating unbalanced encounters (eg halo 3), or allow nearly infinite possibilities. With nearly infinite possibilities, you can having a load out that is ungodly good.... But it is almost an absolute certainty that there is one better, which therefore creates balance.

Evergreen II.I is as good as anything you mentioned. Plenty of rare guns out there that are viable in crucible. Also always expect an influx of the gun just sold by xur. Especially if it happens to be a good crucible one. If everyone is rocking TLW. Pay attention. Stay at a bit more range. Don't whip out your shotgun and run around like a mad man in rumble and expect to dominate since people actually have a primary that can counter it.
-
Whatever, keep it moving, didn't really need to make a thread about it. I mean this isn't like its the 80000th identical one....
-
1 RespuestaI use a common pulse rifle and am in the top 1% ;) I agree though. All I see is Thorn and TLW, sprinkled with a couple Hawkmoon's, Red Death's and Mythoclast's. Definitely annoying getting killed by the first 2
-
I'm playing Rumble right now for the first time. It's a stuggle but fun to face TLW.
-
They seriously need to buff the other weapons to the same standard, or time to kill at least. Note: I said buff, not nerf bungie!!!
-
Keep in mind man. It was just sold last week. The real noob tube is fel winters lie

2 RespuestasI went 21-0 in a game of rumble today. In case you were wondering, I was using the last word.
to be fair, TLW is one of my favorite guns and it has been for a long time. We're not all sheep, sir.
